When we arrived we started out by trying a local restaurant before heading down to the markets to explore. There we decided to purchase some football (soccer) jerseys that added a lot of energy to the video with opposing teams yelling as we went through the streets. — Да вот, про Ямал делаю материал, отвечаю я.
— Кайф! Расскажи, как мой барак ещё при Сталине строили временным жильём для зэков. А теперь тут живу я – спустя 70 лет... Кстати, огонька не найдётся? – уже чуть не вываливается из окна парень.
Я на Ямале. В рейтинге «самых богатых регионов России» он стабильно занимает первое место. Не «первые», а реально самое первое. Ямал богаче Москвы и Петербурга.
— Ну, увижу здесь рай на Земле, думаю я перед поездкой.
... и смачно ошибаюсь. Ямал выглядит хуже чернобыльской Припяти – там хоть зелено.
Жители самого богатого региона России живут не только в сталинских бараках. Некоторым и их не хватило. Такие поселились в бочках. Реально – в бочках. Их ещё советские геологи сюда прикатили пока человеческие дома не построят. Спустя десятки лет так и не построили.
Зато власть на Ямале отрывается. Показательный пример: построила за счёт бюджета шикарную гостиницу, поставила в туалетах там золотые унитазы, а потом скрытно переделала гостиницу в... частную резиденцию.
Я пытаюсь заселиться в этот ямальский дворец – всё-таки по бумагам он гостиница. Но охрана прогоняет меня мокрыми тряпками. Печально.

名門大洋フェリーの「船旅バリューパック」で、福岡の新門司港から大阪港まで旅しました。
ツーリスト船室と朝夕2食のビュッフェがセットで、総額6500円（小学生5000円、未就学児は大人1人につき1人無料）という格安の旅行プランです。
閑散期の限定プランで、年末年始や夏休み、大型連休前後などの時期は利用できません。
現在、4月17日出発から6月30日出発分までが販売中です（ＧＷ期間は除く）。
今回は午後7時50分発の便を利用しましたが、午後5時発の便なら6000円（小学生4500円）と、さらにお安くなります。
大阪港から新門司港への便も同じ値段です
また、往復だと11000～12000円（小学生8000～9000円）、乗用車と運転者1人だと片道13500円です。
お金よりも時間をかけて、瀬戸内海の船旅を楽しみました！

Tigere talks about the steady integration of orphaned albino elephant calf into the Jabulani Herd
Little Khanyisa (the albino orphan in the care of HERD) has been meeting many new faces and trunks, sniffing countless new smells and tickling many new bellies. She has been courageously trusting and persevering and truly braver and bolder than you would expect for her tiny size and her start in life.
As Khanyisa’s Rehabilitation evolves into Reintegration with the Jabulani Herd, we wanted to check in with Elephant Manager, Tigere and the elephants to see how they are adapting to the phased integration of little Khanyisa into their herd, to discover the highlights of this big step in both their lives and just how the carers continue to play a vital role.
So far she has met Jabulani, Lundi, Setombe, Klaserie, Somopane, Bubi, Zindoga and Somopane - and will soon meet the rest of the herd. Lundi has taken on the role as her adoptive mother, as Tokwe the Matriarch currently cares for her own two children (Pisa and Limpopo) as well as another two orphans that were introduced to the herd, namely Kumbura and Timisa, and therefore has her trunk full.
Each step of Khanyisa’s integration thus far has been slow and deliberate, to ensure that she and the herd are not overwhelmed and to be able to better monitor each elephant’s reaction to her and her reaction to them. Not all elephants are the same, as we have revealed through our video series of the different personalities in the herd. Some elephants are naturally motherly, some are excitable or nervous or nonchalant. But what is constant, thus far, is an unprejudiced acceptance among the gentle giants.
The carers and Adine have stood by all of the elephants throughout Lockdown and the integration, caring for them, feeding them, clearing the stables and walking with them in the wild. We couldn’t have gotten this far without their help, and without the tenacity of these incredible animals!
