Albay is a province located in the Bicol Region in southeastern Luzon of the Philippines. Its capital is the city of Legazpi, the regional administrative center of the whole Bicol Region, which is located in the southern foothill of Mayon Volcano, the symbol most associated with the province.

Mt.Mayon is also famous for its eruption history. In 1814, it had one of the most destructive eruptions in Philippine history. The lava flows from that eruption killed more than 1,200 people and destroyed several villages. Outside Legaspi City, you can also visit some destinations in Jovellar and Camalig, Albay. On the second day of my trip to Legazpi City, I and a new friend of mine decided to rent a motorbike to easily navigate the different destinations in the nearby town specifically Jovellar and Camalig in Albay.
On this trip, we decided to visit Quitinday Hills which is somehow considered the Chocolate Hills of the Bicol Region, Jovellar Underground River, Sigpit Falls, Solong Eco Park, Quintuinan Hills, and Sumlang lake.

Off we go to the must-see destinations of Albay!
After kicking off our Bicolandia tour from Caramoan, we will take you with us as we explore another tourist favorite, the province of Albay.
First on our itinerary is of course the majestic Mayon Volcano where we'll show you how to best get close to the iconic mountain without missing on the scenic views. There may be some challenging terrain along the way but nevertheless we guarantee you this is still the best way to go if you're the adventurer type.
We also took a side trip to Cagsawa where we were able to visit a historic Church remains. This is also a good vantage point to admire Mayon Volcano and the perfect place to enjoy Bicol's cuisine. It's also a good site to pick up pasalubongs including pili nuts, chili and other souvenirs to bring home.
