Czech Republic - Sloup Rock Castle
The Hermit Stone is probably the most significant rock castle in northern Bohemia. It is likely that the rock-carved rooms were part of a bigger castle just _ today but no one can say where it was at all. Its history is very mystery. Other literature is doubted that this was a castle. It could have been a manor in. Until the 18th Century, the castle was a hermitage. Today it can be visited.

The city of Lipnice nad Sázavou is where famous Czech author Jaroslav Hašek wrote his books about The Good Soldier Švejk, and where future President Václav Havel made his first public appearance (after 19 years) in 1988. This castle dates from the early 14th century, and the first Hussite priests (who challenged the Catholic Church roughly 100 years before Martin Luther) were ordained at the castle in 1417.

I travelled on 2nd part of the Posázavský pacifik (Sázava Pacific railway) line. This part is also known as the Upper Pacific. This route is operated by a class 810 railbus. The Posázavský pacifik is one of the most beautiful local railway lines in the Czech Republic and running along the Sázava river.

V centru Zruče nad Sázavou Vás uvítá pseudogotický zámek.
Kousek od vodní nádrže Švihov stojí na obou březích řeky Sázavy město Zruč nad Sázavou. Nejznámější dominantou je bezpochyby zdejší zámek. Od května do září si jej můžete prohlédnout denně. Dnes v něm sídlí radnice, galerie a část je zpřístupněna turistům. Za návštěvu stojí rozhodně i přilehlý park.
