Paris, Issy les Moulineaux | Walking Tour | 4K

Paris, Issy les Moulineaux | Walking Tour | 4K

A walk through the commerical area of Issy les Moulineaux, Paris, to explore the Marché Place at Corentin Celton.

I find it peaceful just walking down a normal street to explore and absorb the normal Parisian life.

##################################
Issy-les-Moulineaux is a commune in the southwestern suburban area of Paris, France, lying on the left bank of the river Seine. Its citizens are called Isséens in French. It is one of Paris' entrances and is located 6.6 kilometre from Notre-Dame Cathedral. On 1 January 2010, Issy-les-Moulineaux became part of the Grand Paris Seine Ouest agglomeration community, which merged into the Métropole du Grand Paris in January 2016.
Issy-les-Moulineaux has successfully moved its economy from an old manufacturing base to high value-added service sectors and is at the heart of the Val de Seine business district, the largest cluster of telecommunication and media businesses in France, hosting the headquarters of most major French TV networks.
In July 1815 the Battle of Issy was fought in and around the village, between Prussian and French forces. This was one of the last actions of the 'Hundred Days' campaign and was the final attempt to defend Paris against the armies of the Seventh Coalition.
The town was once the location of the Château d'Issy, destroyed in 1871, former home of the Princes of Conti. On 1 January 1860, the city of Paris was enlarged by annexing neighboring communes. On that occasion, about a third of the commune of Issy-les-Moulineaux was annexed to Paris, and forms now the neighborhood of Javel, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris.
Issy-les-Moulineaux is home to a community of 5,000 Armenians that have established themselves in the area since the 1930s. The community has two Armenian churches, an athletic club, a school, a monument dedicated to the Armenian genocide, and a street named after Armenia called Rue d'Armenie, and Rue d'Erevan named after Armenia's capital Yerevan. Issy-les-Moulineaux became twin cities with Echmiadzin, Armenia in December 1989.

When planning your next Disneyland Paris trip, there are many options to stay over. Of course you can stay at one oft he many on-site official Disney hotels, I really recommend this for the total immersion factor.

PARIS TRAVEL TIPS FOR FIRST TIMERS | 5 Must-Knows Before Visiting

Planning to visit Paris for the first time? In this video, I'm sharing all my best Paris travel tips for new visitors, from important must-knows for your Paris trip to common mistakes that tourists make in France. Don't miss this video if you're planning your own trip to Paris!

Atypical Cabride today on a Haut Le Pied trip in BB60000 between Vaires (77) and Le Bourget (93) via the now closed route of the Evangile connection to make way for the Roissy Express works
We first take the tracks of line E of the RER to Noisy-le-Sec then the so-called slow tracks in the direction of Paris-Est. Intersections of various RER and TGV.
At the current Rosa-Parks station, detour to the famous Evangile connection which allowed to join Paris-Nord and the Paris-Chapelle
After crossing the garages of La Chapelle, we find the tracks of line B of the RER to Le Bourget station.

Esplanade, Metz, Lorraine, France, Europe

Metz Esplanade is a garden with an area of 9200 m² located west of the district of Metz-Centre. The Esplanade is lined on the longer opposing sides by the courthouse and Arsenal near the Chapel of the Templars and Saint-Pierre-aux-Nonnains Basilica. It overlooks the Moselle valley, the Saint-Symphorien lake facing Mont Saint-Quentin. This garden consists of two mails linden and chestnut trees that frame the flower center portion and a lively circular pool with a water jet. Several statues were created by artists from the School of Metz, that of Marshal Ney, the nymph of the Source of Charles Petre, bronze horse Christopher Fratin, a bust of Paul Verlaine and that of liberating Hairy, placed in the old kiosk prior to 1861 (it already existed at the Universal Exhibition in Metz), disappeared following the development works of the Esplanade car park in the 60s (he probably inspired one of the park courses in Epinal realized in 1863). Originally, a garden named Napoleon court was situated between the moat of the citadel and the courthouse. Esplanade Gardens are built following the destruction of the citadel and occupy the site of his former ditches filled in 1816. The World Expo 1861 takes place partly on the promenade of the Esplanade5. In December 1918, Philippe Pétain is made Marshal of France by Raymond Poincaré and Clemenceau. The garden is remodeled in 1967 following the construction of the underground parking place of République4. In 2008, an underground car park under the Esplanade is added to increase the capacity of the Arsenal car park, to the transformation of the Republic Square in the green zone. Each year the Summer Book it held at the beginning of June. The Fair Carnival (February-March) and the funfair Mirabelle (late August to early September) take place in the gardens, and by year-end with the Christmas market, these are cabins, a large rou, and an ice rink that take place along the avenue Ney. The Bellevue pavilion, the tavern of the Esplanade, much appreciated for Metz when the weather permits, closed since August 2005 due to construction of the underground car park on the Esplanade, has opened its doors June 10, 2009. Its sculptor Charles Petre, born in Metz. In the mid-nineteenth century, there was a big change in transport, we used the steam engine; which led to a lack of drinking water in Metz. Marshal Felix, the mayor, brought water from Gorze. For public distribution, we created new fountains. Johnston, an English who lived Serpenoise street, gave three days before his death 10,000 francs to the city for that on the Esplanade, a statue was erected in his name. Naiad was inaugurated August 14, 1847. Christophe Fratin is an animal sculptor messin to whom we owe the Arabian horse bronze Esplanade dated 1850. According to some, Christopher Fratin committed suicide by jumping into the moat of the citadel, in others it hanged himself; they had pointed out to him that the provision of the horse's legs was bad. In fact, Fratin died at Raincy, at age 63. The plaque reads: In liberating hairy - Moselle French Remembrance, a tribute to the hairy of the First World War. Paul Verlaine was born in Metz in 2 Upper Stone Street; he died in 1896. His statue was sculpted by Swiss James Vilbert and inaugurated June 27, 1925 by the Society of Friends. The statue is located at the foot of the Esplanade, Poincarré Boulevard.

Notre Dame Cathedral and Church of Saint Severin

Unfortunately, Notre-Dame Cathedral is currently closed to visitors following the burning incident of the cathedral, but I thought I'd introduce it to you from the outside. A very special and beautiful construction, being at the same time a landmark in Paris. While we were having dinner on the streets of Paris, we sat down next to the Saint-Severin Cathedral, so I thought of exploring it and sharing it with you!
