Hacienda San Gabriel de las Palmas – Visit Morelos

Sightseeing Challenge: Mitla, Yagul, Tlacolula, Lambityeco, Dainzu, Oaxaca
This time we decided to try something new: cycling and sightseeing on the same day. We are used to cycling as well as to sightseeing and we visited few sights on a cycling day before, but never so many sights on a full cycling day!
We started our day in Mitla, when our alarm clock went off at 6:00. Our first sight was Yagul - UNESCO World Heritage Archeological Ruins. Next we stopped in Tlacolula, to take a glimpse to it's famous church and to eat lunch. Our day continued in a small Lambityeco ruins. After that we visited yet another Zapotec ruins: Dainzu. For a nice end of the day, we stopped in El Tule, where we walked around the biggest tree in the world (by grith). Finally, we arrived at Oaxaca just before sunset!
