Check out all the places seen in this video:
With nearly half of Wyoming designated as public land, the Cowboy State is the ideal destination for anyone who wants to explore the dramatic natural beauty of the American West. The most sparsely populated state in the Union, Wyoming is filled with spectacular landscapes, ranging from the thermal geysers of Yellowstone to the jagged mountain peaks of Grand Teton. The mountainous state is rightfully proud of its Wild West heritage too. Whether watching a bronco-busting rodeo or rollicking the night away at a country-music dance hall, it’s clear that cowboy culture is alive and well in Wyoming.

Laramie /ˈlærəmi/ is a city in and the county seat of Albany County, Wyoming, United States. The population was estimated 32,711 in 2019, making it the third-largest city in Wyoming after Cheyenne and Casper. Located on the Laramie River in southeastern Wyoming, the city is north west of Cheyenne, at the junction of Interstate 80 and U.S. Route 287.

Laramie was settled in the mid-19th century along the Union Pacific Railroad line, which crosses the Laramie River at Laramie. It is home to the University of Wyoming, WyoTech, and a branch of Laramie County Community College. Laramie Regional Airport serves Laramie. The ruins of Fort Sanders, an army fort predating Laramie, lie just south of the city along Route 287. Located in the Laramie Valley between the Snowy Range and the Laramie Range, the city draws outdoor enthusiasts with its abundance of outdoor activities.

In 2011, Laramie was named as one of the best cities in which to retire by Money Magazine, which cited its scenic location, low taxes, and educational opportunities.

Things TO DO in Wyoming - Fort Laramie National Historic Site Tour

Looking for THINGS TO DO in WY? We take you on a tour of Fort Laramie National Historic Site in Eastern Wyoming. In this tour we go through the Fort Laramie and its history. Fort Laramie was originally established as a private fur trading fort in 1834. Fort Laramie evolved into the largest and best known military post on the Northern Plains before its abandonment in 1890. This “grand old post” witnessed the United States western expansion of the Oregon Trail and Native American resistance to encroachment on their lands. In addition, Fort Laramie was where the Treaty of Fort Laramie was signed. Where famous Sioux Chiefs came together with the delegates from the USA. Make sure to check out our Oregon Trail video. Which is something you can do on this same visit. #RoadTrip #WyomingVacation #RoadTripWyoming
