Bukidnon is a paradise for anyone who has ever dreamed of retreating to the peace and quiet of the mountains. Taking its name after the term for highlander or mountain dweller, the landlocked province is surrounded by caves, rising peaks, and roaring rivers. This pastoral plateau is home to 7 indigenous groups, each named after the bodies of water near their initial dwelling places. These days, the province is known for its traditions and cultural, aesthetic, and artistic heritage, as well as nature trails and activities. These attractions can be seen and accessed year-round, but most of the adventure resorts and hotels in Bukidnon fill up with tourists during the Kaamulan Festival.

Mga ka Trip! Looking for a new dining place for exclusive bookings amid the backdrop of the Bukidnon countryside? EL PASO RESTAURANT located in Songco in the Municipality of Lantapan has been getting positive feedback since it opened in September last year.
Getting there: El Paso is approximately 27 kilometers from Aglayan Crossing or a short 45-minute drive from Malaybalay City. It’s a much longer drive from Cagayan de Oro through the Talakag-Alanib-Aglayan Road.

DAVAO CITY: Stopover Cafe Sa Bukid, Kibangay, Lantapan, Bukidnon
Cafe sa Bukid – Is known for it’s nature-friendly environment and utensils, well except for their glass.Straw and plates that they used were made of bamboo and wood which they created on their own.
How to Get There?
This cafe is located at Barangay Kibangay,Lantapan,Bukidnon.An hour travel by motorcycle from Barangay Aglayan,Malaybalay City to the location of the cafe.You will see a wide garden of broccoli,lettuce and many more vegetables and fruits along the way.Cafe was just in the highway, if you are going to Talakag,Bukidnon you can see the cafe along the highway.We rode a motorcycle for Php 700.00 back and forth (we rented the motorcycle with the driver because we are afraid that we don’t have a ride going back to Aglayan)
What About Foods?
About the foods,well this is a cafe that serves only foods for snacks,like sandwich and toast.On my visit to the cafe,we chose French Toast with Mango and Pineapple jam on top and Strawberry Frappe.Below are the list of their foods and drinks with prices.

Famous Cafés in Lantapan, Bukidnon (Part I) | Cinematic Travel Vlogs
Officially the Municipality of Lantapan is a 1st class municipality in the Province of Bukidnon.
The town is on a plateau in the heart of Bukidnon, situated between the Kalatungan and Kitanglad Mountain Ranges, after which its native name of lantapan was derived which means level-on-top.
Lantapan is known as the “Vegetable Basket” of Mindanao.
It used to be a barrio of Malaybalay until its creation, by virtue of Republic Act No. 4787 enacted on 18 June 1968, as a separate municipality.
In this video: Two famous café in town with the same style and concept.
1. Chukoohills Café -located at barangay Kaatuan, Lantapan Bukidnon it is part of the protected area of the Mount Kitanglad Range Natural Park, home to the Cinchona Plantation.
This 3 storey café is now on the final phase of construction ,their goal is to open it to the public as earliest possible. Abangan!
2. Café sa Bukid -located at barangay kibangay, a 2 storey café started in August 28, 2017, a place where people can unwind, just eat (there are so many delectables to choose from) and to relax with friends and family together, away from the city and online buzz. To be with nature, garden and a view of Kitanglad Mountain Range.
The Kitanglad Mountain Range is a very significant landmark in the cultural history of the indigenous peoples of Bukidnon.

Cafe Sa Bukid: Great food & amazing view (Kibangay, Lantapan Bukidnon)
Cafe sa Bukid, located at Kibangay, Lantapan Bukidnon, is a rustic cafe that provides an array of food and drinks. We opted for their Beef Stroganoff Linguine, Salisbury Steak, and Roasted Chicken. Due to the chilly weather of 26 degrees Celsius, we ordered hot beverages. Upon entering, it is customary to remove your shoes. The ambiance is cozy, and the breathtaking views add to the overall experience.

This is my second time vlogging this road but in this moment I use aerial shot to highlight the beauty of each barangay that we passed through.
When you travelled in this road, you can save half of your travel if you used the National road going to Lantapan. It only had 28 kilometers compare to 55 kilometers if you use the national road via Aglayan.

Summer 2017 in Lantapan, Bukidnon
The best thing that happened to me in 2017 is that I finally spend time with my family after almost four years abroad. I captured this video in my hometown in Lantapan, Bukidnon. It feels great to be back to the place where I grew up. Featuring Cinchona in Mt. Kitanglad Range Natural Park, Manupali River, and Mountain View College (MVC)
