This week we are exploring another Spanish city. We are in Barcelona and this video is going to highlight 25 things to do here.
It is kind of hard to believe our time in Barcelona has expired. So final thoughts.
Well, it was a really fun city to visit. Great architecture, really nice beaches. It is very lively especially at night. The only downfall is that we were here in the middle of summer so it was super hot and super crowded and sometimes that made it a little bit difficult to enjoy. Especially at midday or in the mid-afternoon. So keep that in mind. Maybe consider visiting in the springtime, fall, winter.
Well, so what did you think of the city?
It is definitely a fun city. We had a lot of fun going to the beaches. One thing that is really different about this city compared to some other European cities though is that it is really spread out. In order for us to visit all of these different attractions we had to chunk them together into groups to visit them day by day. Overall, it was a decent city. It didn't quite click with me the same way that Madrid did. But that is just personal preference I suppose.
And that is a wrap for Barcelona! Our 5 days in the city flew by, and while this guide didn't cover everything, we hope we were able to give you a feel of what this fun seaside city has to offer. Hello and greetings from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia where in this travel guide we plan to highlight some of the top things to do for visitors! We recently spent a week road-tripping the island and what an adventure that was! This was our fourth summer exploring Nova Scotia, and this time around we focused on southern Cape Breton, specifically the area between St. Peter’s and Port Hastings. Here is our Cape Breton Travel Guide covering some fascinating things to do in Nova Scotia, Canada.
I think this is a really interesting area to visit because it is very accessible. Port Hastings is the first town you hit if you’re crossing via the Canso Causeway (the only land access point to the island!), so it’s a logical starting point, and it makes a lot of sense for travellers who want to see a bit of Cape Breton without having to drive too far.
We spent our week in southern Cape Breton doing an iconic sail from lake to sea, feasting on seafood at every meal, tackling different hiking trails, and enjoying the warm hospitality the island is known for.

I spend a weekend in a French Château in Provence and give you a tour of the inside (featuring some original elements from the 18th century design), the beautiful grounds, the famous restaurant and a few little surprises along the way with my adorable dog Tyson ! Château de Fonscolombe in Provence, France is one of the most luxurious Château Hotels in the area , is part of the carefully curated Relais & Châteaux collection and I can genuinely recommend it based on my quick trip there last week. This is an easy, circular 4-hour walk / hike of about 11km. It goes up to the peak Puy de Naouri at 1024m and looks down on the Nice to Cannes French Riviera coastline.
It's in the stunning area overlooking the iconic seemingly vertical cliff, St. Jeannet.
