Melbourne's Tourist Drive 2 (the Yarra Scenic Drive) roughly follows the flow of the Yarra River from Warrandyte in the NorthEast, down through the centre of Melbourne, all the way to the end near Williamstown where the river flows into Port Phillip Bay. This windy, relaxed drive shows the best of what Melbourne has to offer: beautiful natural parks, wide tram-filled streets, affluent suburbs, various iconic views of the city and pristine water views.

The M1, a small part of the A1 National Highway route in Victoria, is a motorway that runs east-west from Traralgon to Colac East and right through the heart of Melbourne for more than 300 kilometres. It takes in some beautiful countryside, as well as some spectacular city views and the weather is absolutely perfect for this drive.
I've done my best to keep the windshield clean for the duration, but the bugs were out in force, though any messes are soon cleaned up :)
Sit back, crank some tunes, and enjoy a slice of some beautiful Victorian countryside.
