Winter in Lithuania
For the second time we have an opportunity to visit Lithuania and in winter time. Able to see teh Christmas tree n old town Kaunas , the snow in Vilnius and in Kaunas .
Walking around city center of Kaunas in snow .Having this cold weather might be difficult for us that leaves in the tropical countries, but enjoying the snow is extraordinary.
The problem is that I am alone in this trip so there are boredoms. This is just a side trip alongside the business work related trip.
Just want to share the winter in Lithuania .
Driving in ŠIAULIAI - Lithuania ????????
Šiauliai is a city in northern Lithuania. It's a gateway to the Hill of Crosses, just northeast. A place of pilgrimage, the site was established in the 19th century as a symbol of resistance to Russian rule. It now includes more than 100,000 crosses. In the city center, the Aušros Museum’s several branches include the Photography Museum, with old Lithuanian photos and a camera obscura, and the Bicycle Museum.

Miracle of Faith: Lithuania's Churches
A majority of Americans couldn't find Lithuania on a world map, but one thing visitors to this country northeast of Poland can't fail to notice are its churches. Many date back centuries surviving two world wars and a fifty year long Soviet occupation in the process, and seem to be everywhere across the land in towns big and small.
Many are also beautiful, and here to illustrate is a sample in a variety of locations and architectural styles. Accompanying music courtesy of New Age artist Enya's A Day Without Rain. Enjoy the show!
