Pakistan with the assistance of Japan (country) has recently completed the Asia's Second Largest Steel Bridge in Fort Munro (Dera Ghazi Khan) Pakistan in 2020. This bridge is constructed in Girdu Section of Suleman Range near Dera Ghazi Khan. It covers 1.5 km trough 8 hanging steel bridge structures. This project was named as Raakhi Gaaj Project. The cost of total project is 1.2 Billion rupees. This bridge is constructed to mitigate the hazard of land sliding which affects the road as well as the vehicle passage. The road and steel bridge is constructed by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The budget for this bridge was also provided by Japan Government. Fort Munro (Urdu: 9s ygs), (Balochi: sl aï or gjis Ujgs) also known as Tuman Leghari, is a hill station, located at a height of 6,470 feet (1,970 m) above sea level in Dera Ghazi Khan. It attracts many people for short stays during the hot summer. It is around 85 kilometres from Dera Ghazi Khan city, Puniab. Pakistan and about 185 kilometres from Multan in Sulaiman Mountain range. The people of Fort Munro are nomads, especially of the Leghari tribe. Fort Munro lies on the Quetta Road at 85 km from Dera Ghazi Khan city. It is the only hill station in southern Punjab in the Sulaiman Mountain range. Its altitude is 1800 meters and attracts many people for short stays during the summer. Fort Munro can be reached either from Loralai Balochistan or from Multan (Punjab). From Punjab, the mountain range starts near Rakhni, which is a border-post between Balochistan and Punjab. The Ziarat district was established in 1986 by upgrading the Ziarat sub-Tehsil of Sibi district, to the present level. It is one of the four districts of the Sibi division; the other three are: Sibi, Kohlu and Dera Bugti. Population-wise, it is the smallest district of Sibi Division.
Name
The district derives its name from Ziarat (shrine) of Baba Kharwari, a highly esteemed saint of the area who lived here in the early eighteenth century. The shrine is located about nine km south of Ziarat town.
Boundaries
Ziarat district is bordered on the north by the districts of Pishin, Loralai and Killa Saifullah, on the south by Sibi district, on the east by Loralai, and to the west by Pishin and Sibi district.
History
The history of Ziarat during the British colonial administration is the same as that of the Sibi district of which it was a part until 1986. The area came under British colonial influence by the middle of the last century, and was made a part of British India in 1887 like the rest of the old Sibi district. Two years earlier, in 1885, the British Government had acquired land for construction of a civil station (at the present Ziarat town), on payment of Rs.1,400,000 to the Saidzai sub section of the Sarangzai tribe. Before the creation of Sibi district (in 1903), Ziarat used to be the summer headquarters of Thal and Chutiali District (Duki Sajavi Sub Division). Later when the Sibi District was created in 1903, it became Sibi District’s summer headquarters. It formed a part of Shahrigh Tehsil of Sibi District till 1974 when it was given the status of a sub-Tehsil.
The founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, spent his last days at Ziarat Residency which is now a National Monument. The local people believe that the Quaid-e-Azam had in fact breathed his last here in Ziarat, contrary to the official reports that he expired in Karachi on 11 September, 1948, the day he was shifted there from Ziarat. The residency building is a majestic piece of architecture, but people visit it primarily for its association with the Quaid-e-Azam.
Important places / buildings
Ziarat
Ziarat is the holiday resort of the province and no visit to Quetta is complete without a trip to Ziarat. The district is famous for its ancient and magnificent juniper forest which spreads over 126,000 acres, and is the second largest in the world. Some of the trees are almost 4,000 years old.
Residency
The most famous landmark is, of course, the Residency. It was here that the Father of the nation spent his last days. The building, constructed in 1892, was originally meant to serve as a sanatorium but was later converted into the summer residence of the Agent to the Governor General (AGG). It has now been declared a national monument.
Shrine of Baba Kharwari
The shrine (Ziarat) of Baba Kharwari (whose real name was Mula Tahir) is one of the most well known places in the district. Baba Kharwari rendered great services to the cause of Islam in the early 18th century. His shrine is situated about 9 km from the town and a large number of people who visit Ziarat go to the Mazar to offer Fateha.
Zizri Valley
Zizri valley, situated on the southern edge of the district, possesses a breathtaking beauty. The road leading to the valley is kacha, rough, and tractable mainly by four wheel drive vehicles.
Prospect Point
Six km from the town, this place offers a spectacular view of the Koshki valley. There is a local government resthouse on this spot and a wide open space for picnic/camping.
Mana Valley
This lush green valley with its apple orchards and scintillating blue lake is a popular tourist site.
Sandeman Tangi
Within easy reach of the town, this narrow gorge between lofty mountains culminates in a perennial spring. This is another major tourist attraction.
Khalifat Peak
This is the second highest peak in the province – 3,488 m high. For climbers it presents a real challenge.

Kohlu is a district in Balochistan, Pakistan. It is bound in the north by Loralai District, Dera Bugti in the south, and in the east by Rojhan-Mazari, and Sibi District in the west. Kohlu District covers a total area of 7,456 square miles (19,310 km. The area is mostly inhibited by a nomadic or semi - nomadic population, which camps with their flocks of sheep and moves with the seasons to find pasture. The area is generally mountainous and main localities in the area are Kohlu, Fazal Chel, Maiwand,Kahan, Bijarwadh and Thadri. The district is divided in three Tehsils i.e., Kohlu, Maiwand and Kahan with eight union councils.

Barkhan (Urdu: بارکھان, About this soundpronunciation (help·info) is a district in the Pakistani province of Balochistan.[6] It shares its borders with the province of Punjab to the east and the Balochistan districts of Dera Bugti to the south, Kohlu to the west, Loralai to the northwest and Musakhel to the north. The district's headquarters is the town of Barkhan. It was granted the status of a separate district on 31 December 1991, prior to which it was a tehsil within Loralai District.
Topography
The landscape of Barkhan consists of plains, valleys and mountains varying in ground elevation ranging from 841 to 2,031 meters above Mean Sea Level (MSL). The district consists of one main valley, called Barkhan, and several smaller valleys, which are separated from the main valley by low ranges of hills running in a southwest direction. The Barkhan valley is enclosed on the north side by scattered low hills, which divide the drainage water of the valley from the waters flowing into the Rakhni stream in the southwest, and on the west and northwest side by the great Jandran range. The valley ends in the Vitakari valley. To the east of the Sukha range is the Kharcha valley, which is bounded by the Phulai range on the east. The hills in the district belong to the Suleman range; the principal hills are known as Kala Pahar in the north, Karwada, Bibar, Jandra and Mar or Mukhmar in the west, Andari and Sukha in the south, Phulai and Khawaj in the east, and Mazara, Tagha, Dig and Deka in the centre and Rakhni areas. The ranges mostly consist of earth sand and stones; some portions are rocky and not easily accessible. The Jandran range is mostly rocky. In the south runs the Han stream with its tributaries. The Han stream runs in a southwest direction and carries the drainage of the Han pass and the southeastern slopes of the Jandran range. At Dhamani (Barkhan Tehsil) the stream becomes perennial up to its junction with the Kah River in Dera Ghazi Khan district. Dhaula stream, its tributary, brings water from the hills situated to the south of the Bagha valley and irrigates a number of villages in the Barkhan valley and joins Han in Vitakari. Rakhni and Han join Kah Stream which then passes into the district of Dera Ghazi Khan.
A third important stream is Bala Dhaka. This stream lies in Berg-Sham Mauza of the Barkhan Tehsil. The stream is a tributary of the Narechi River (Duki Tehsil). Water in this stream comes down from the southwestern slopes of hills located north of the Han pass. The stream irrigates a very small area of Mauza Berg-Sham, and then its water passes in the Duki Tehsil.

Mast Tawakali / Mast Tawakali 1825-1892 ( Balochi: مست توکلی ) was a 19th century great Sufi poet of Balochi. He belonged to Loharani (Sherani) a branch of Marri tribe. It is believed that there is no piece of poetry of him that does not mention Samoo. Samoo's love was the source and pathawy for Mast to get closer to God and purify his soul. He was born in 1825 in Manak(مانڑک بند) Band ,near from Kahan, District Kohlu Balochistan. His father Lal Khan, named him Sohrab Khan. One stormy night he was travelling with his closer friend, however, caught by a storm and stayed in a nearby the tent, The tent in which he stayed belonged to lady named Samoo. He saw Samoo's first time in the lightening of the sky when she became to fix the tent. He fell in love with her first at sight. As the saying goes, the first sight of love is the last of wisdom. After that night he spent his entire life like a vagabond and known as Mast Tawakali means Nobody cares. It is said that at the age of 28 Mast Tawakali / Tawakali fell in love with a lady called Samoo. He left every thing for his love and started poetry. This love of humans being ascends to God, thus he went from virtual love to spiritual love. Mast Tawakali is the greatest Sufi poet of Balochi language and his poetry is closely attached to the suffering of common men. his poetry carried a message of peace ,love, tolerance and brotherhood. Mast Tawakali lived his whole life in search of truth, beauty and love. He was not only an eminent poet of Balochi but also a great Sufi of the era. As Sufis believe that by purifying their hearts they get close to God. For him, Samoo's love was the pathway to get there extreme. Sufis say that they see the divine presence in everything. Mast Tawakali found it in Samoo. He says in a stanza:
نندون کاہان آ بیثغوں کوہانی مری
وا رضا بیثو ،بہانغے سمو اے کثئی

The climate of Ziarat and the pine forests here make it one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in Pakistan, so thousands of people visit Ziarat in summer. The trees are covered with a white sheet of snow. If you love forests, you want to see them up close and feel their freshness, then you must visit the healthy mountainous place of Balochistan.
When you travel from Karachi to Quetta, the beautiful scenery becomes your companion, so you do not feel much fatigue. The journey is long and the reason for the length is the views that force tourists to stop and look at the camera every now and then.
On one side of the road, high mountains stand in awe, and it looks as if an artist has worked hard to carve them with his own hands for years. There is no greenery in the mountains in the distance, but these mountain paths The desolation of the Dnieper forest begins as you pass through And surrounded by barren land.
The first place you will be anxious to visit after reaching Ziarat is the Quaid-e-Residency which is considered to be a great national heritage. Feels.
Just beyond the Quaid Residency is a beautiful Park Forest Family Park. In addition to shady seating areas, the park also has a walking track and special fire places for tourists to enjoy the bonfire on a cold night. Temporary shelters have been set up for overnight stays in the park due to the quiet silence and the gentle breeze that gives a pleasant atmosphere to the rustling of Napier leaves.
The next destination after a tour of the park is a tourist spot called Naray Sar. About three kilometers away from Naray Park, this tourist spot is located on a hill where you can see apple orchards in the plains between four hundred mountains. There is also the shrine of Kharuri Baba which tourists go there to see.
Another tourist destination on the right side of Nere Sar is Zizari. The distance from Nare Sar can be reached in 25 to 30 minutes. In front of Zazeri is another mountain range called Khilafat Mountain which has a beautiful view in winter.
