greetings my friends. this is a map of Uganda. Its geography is very diverse consisting of volcanic hills, mountains, and lakes. The country sits at an average of 900 meters above sea level. Both the eastern and western borders of Uganda have mountains. The Ruwenzori mountain range contains the highest peak in Uganda, which is named Alexandra and measures 5,094 meters.
also , Much of the south of the country is heavily influenced by one of the world's biggest lakes, Lake Victoria, which contains many islands. The most important cities are located in the south, near this lake, including the capital Kampala and the nearby city of Entebbe. Lake Kyoga is in the centre of the country and is surrounded by extensive marshy areas.
Although landlocked, Uganda contains many large lakes. Besides Lakes Victoria and Kyoga, there are Lake Albert, Lake Edward, and the smaller Lake George. It lies almost completely within the Nile basin. The Victoria Nile drains from Lake Victoria into Lake Kyoga and thence into Lake Albert on the Congolese border. It then runs northwards into South Sudan. An area in eastern Uganda is drained by the Suam River, part of the internal drainage basin of Lake Turkana. Kasese is one of the most beautiful and gifted places to visit in Uganda, basing on the number of features that exist. These include the Kyibira Kyahumba hot springs, Kiwa herritage hot springs, River Nyamwamba, River Mubuku, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Mountain Rwenzori, Kilembe mines. All the named places have a lot that one can learn from, as a snippet; did you know, entering the hot spring water heals many diseases but mostly bones and that is why many people with born/spine issues travel to enter the hot springs.

10 WAYS UGANDA CHANGED ME ???????? There's one point I forgot to mention..... can you guess it? ????
How has going back 'home' changed or influenced you?
1) It made me appreciate the simple things like fresh fruit.
2) Made me a nature lover
3) Visiting Uganda made me proud to be Ugandan.
4) It helped me understand my mothers upbringing and all the stories she told me growing up.
5) I learnt African timing isn’t just a myth…There African timing is like 5 times worse…. But, you just get on with it.
6) Visiting Uganda showed me that I could consider living there. It is a very diverse place.
7) Uganda also made me a very cautious but carefree person at the same time. There are so many things I realise I have to be careful about, yet the pace of life is more relaxed & not like England at all in that sense.
8) Being in Uganda made my eating times more regulated! – Its like breakfast, lunch and dinner are at specific times. It’s quite good because it’s a communal affair.
9) Exposed me to people out there just like me…. Dark skinned people
10) Made me less conscious of my insecurities in a way. Helped me put things into perspective.

Uganda VLOG - Sightseeing in busy Kampala
I have finally edited the last of our Ugandan vlogs! I had never actually been to Kampala (just through it), so we decided to have a bit of a tour and see all the sights. It doesn't beat Jinja in my books, but worth a visit if you're around! The traffic was crazy and I'm glad we had a local guide to help us out.
