Kirchheimbolanden, die Kleine Residenz - Sehenswürdigkeiten von Kibo
Unser Rundgang durch die gastfreundliche Kreisstadt des Donnersbergkreises (Rheinland-Pfalz) beginnt am Rathaus. Nachdem wir uns das Schloss Kirchheimbolanden mit dem beeindruckenden Schlossgarten angeschaut haben, gelangen wir in die historische Altstadt mit vielen Barockgebäuden und der teilweise gut restaurierten Stadtmauer. Der Obere Torturm, auch Apothekenturm genannt, die Paulus- sowie die Peterskirche sind weitere Anlaufpunkte in Kirchheimbolanden, kurz Kibo genannt.

Wachenheim an der Weinstraße - Sehenswürdigkeiten
Unser Rundgang durch Wachenheim im Speyergau (Landkreis Bad Dürkheim / Rheinland-Pfalz) beginnt an der Edith-Stein-Kirche. In der Innenstadt begeistern uns zunächst verschiedene Weingüter, die Simultankirche St.Georg und das Schloss Wachenheim. Nach Besichtigung von Rathaus, Alter Münze und Lutherischer Pfarrkirche beenden wir unseren Besuch in Wachenheim auf der Ruine Wachtenburg.

Bürstadt im Hessischen Ried - Sehenswürdigkeiten
Wir beginnen unseren Rundgang durch Bürstadt (Landkreis Bergstrasse) am Bahnhof. Über die kleine Einkaufspassage gelangen wir zum Alten Rathaus, dem Ausgangspunkt eines historischen Rundgangs durch die Altstadt.
Neben der katholischen Kirche St. Michael, dem Heimatmuseum und der Genzsteinsammlung am Rathaus finden wir besonders den Geologischen Garten im Bürgerhauspark interessant.
Das älteste Fachwerkhaus von Bürstadt (1733) und das - leider in schlechtem Zustand befindliche - Wohnhaus des Oberschultheissen Heinrich Schremser bilden den Abschluss unserer Altstadtbesichtigung.
Auf unserem Weg zurück zum Bahnhof kommen wir noch an der evangelischen Gustav-Adolf-Kirche und um Springbunnen vor der Markthalle vorbei.

Wir kommen über die Konrad Adenauer Brücke nach Ludwigshafen, der zweitgrössten Stadt in Rheinland-Pfalz. Vom Bahnhof aus gehen wir direkt zum Friedenspark und zum Ebertpark. Danach besichtigen wir u.a. das Prinzregententheater, das Rathauscenter, den Pfalzbau und das Wilhelm-Hack-Museum.
Am Ende unseres Rundgangs durch Ludwigshafen besichtigen wir die Walzmühle und den Pegelturm.

Kaiserslautern / Germany is a city in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate in the southwest of the country. The historic center dates back to the 9th century. Today Kaiserslautern is home to about 100.000 people with additionally approximately 45.000 NATO military personnel. The military presence is a large contributing factor to the local economy.
We start our tour on this cloudy day at the Kaiserpfalz (Barbarossaburg). This former palace was a temporary seat for the roman emperor from the early and high middle ages. Nowadays a few red stones remain giving a small impression of the former glory.
On this walk we see the city centre with common shopping streets and a few churches. We walk to the Kaiserbrunnen on the eastern edge of the city center and head outwards to the Museum Pfalzgalerie.
The final part of this walk happens inside the Japanese Garden, where we take our time to check out this relaxing place.

Kaiserslautern City in Germany TOUR
Kaiserslautern is an independent industrial and university town on the north-western edge of the Palatinate Forest in southern Rhineland-Palatinate . It is the seat of the district administration of the district of Kaiserslautern.
Kaiserslautern is home to about 100,000 people. Additionally, approximately 45,000 NATO military personnel are based in the city and its surrounding district (Landkreis Kaiserslautern), contributing approximately US$1 billion annually to the local economy.
The walking tour took off at Kaiserslautern Bahnhof towards the City Center as we pass by the beautiful K in Lautern mall and Marienkirche. After that we will visit the Kaiserpfalz near Kaiserslautern Radhaus. Thereafter we will head to the Stiftskirche and the last stop is the Japanischer Garten (Japanese Garden).

#Kirchheimbolanden Город-крепость расположен на склонах горы Доннерсберг. Здесь хорошо сохранились старый центр города и крепостная стена со сторожевыми башнями, по которой мы с удовольствием прогулялись. С неё открываются красивейшие виды на древние и обновленные черепичные крыши Старого города, а также прекрасные панорамы вокруг крепостной стеной. Прогулка по городу оказалось столь удивительной потому, что город был практически пустым: это был будний день в нетуристический сезон в конце октября.
Кирххайм впервые упомянут в исторических документах в 774 г. А приставка Боланден появилась при династии князей, которые владели этим городом. Символом города стал дикий вепрь - он тут повсюду)
Прогуляйтесь вместе с нами по средневековому городку с уютным фахверком и получите необыкновенное удовольствие! А продолжим прогулку в следующем видео)

This is the fourth part of a journey from Munich to Brussels visiting Belheim, Mondorf les Bains and Luxembourg en route.
This part shows the Pfalz (Palatinate) region of Germany. The Pfalz occupies more than a quarter of the German federal state (Bundesland) of Rhineland-Palatinate (Rheinland-Pfalz).
The western and northern part of the Palatinate is densely forested and mountainous. The highest point is the Donnersberg (687 m) near Kirchheimbolanden. The Palatinate forest (Pfälzerwald) covers more than a third of the region and is the largest coherent forest in Germany.
The eastern part is lower, and is a well known wine region. The German Wine Route (Deutsche Weinstrasse) passes through the Palatinate wine region. Most of the cities of the Palatinate (Ludwigshafen, Speyer, Landau, Frankenthal, Neustadt) lie in the plain rhine rift in the east of the region, near the Rhine River, which forms the eastern border of the Palatinate.
