Kilinochchi War Memorial is a historical monument which is situated in Kilinochchi in the northern province of Sri Lanka. It used to be cemetery where the bodies of LTTE cadres were buried during the civil war in Sri Lanka. At present it serves as a memorabilia of the war which was won by the Sri Lankan troops in 2009. The monument is a commemoration for the Sri Lankan military forces for the sacrifices made by them during the war.

Elephant Pass, Northern Province, Sri Lanka is located in the gateway of Jaffna Peninsula. It lies about 340 km north from capital. It has an important military base and used to be the island's largest salt field. It was regularly the site of battles during the civil war.
The life-size statue of ‘Hasalaka’ War Hero, Corporal Gamini Kularathne of 6th Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) who sacrificed his own life to rescue hundreds of fellow soldiers in the Elephant Pass camp,

Keerimalai Pond Jaffna is a freshwater spring located in the Kankesanthurai area in the Jaffna District in the Northern Province of Sri Lanka, adjacent to the Keerimalai Sea. The Dambakola Patuna is an ancient port located in northern Jaffna with a long history dating back to the first days of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. Back in 250 B.C., Mihindu Maha Thero brought Buddhism to Sri Lanka, following which Theri Sanhamitta, his sister, brought the famed Sacred Bo Sapling to the site of the Dambakola Patuna.
To commemorate this event, King Devanampiya Tissa built the Jambukola Viharaya. The sapling grew to become the Sri Maha Bodhi, recorded as one of the oldest planted trees on Earth. He later planted eight shoots from the tree in the same area.
