फिरोजाबाद शहर चूड़ियों के मामले में काफी मशहूर है। यह शहर कांच उद्योग के लिए काफी फेमस है । फ़िरोज़ाबाद का पुराना नाम चंदवार था। यह शहर चूड़ियों के निर्माण के लिये प्रसिद्ध है। यह आगरा से 40 किलोमीटर और राजधानी दिल्ली से 250 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर पूर्व की तरफ स्थित है। फिरोजाबाद उत्तर प्रदेश की राजधानी लखनऊ से करीब 285 किलोमीटर दूर है। फिरोजाबाद में ऐसे कई पर्यटन स्थल भी है जो इस शहर को खास बनाते हैं। तो आइये जानते हैं उनके बारे में....

श्रीकरणपुर भारत-पाक अंतरराष्ट्रीय सीमा के पास बसा एक प्रमुख कस्बा है। इसके इतिहास की बात की जाए तो कभी इसका नाम रत्ती थेड़ी था। थार के एक सिरे पर बसे इस इलाके में रेत के टीले हुआ करते थे जिससे इसका यह नाम रत्ती थेड़ी पड़ गया। फिर कभी इसे कच्ची थेड़ी के रूप में भी जाना पहचाना गया।
बाद में बीकानेर रियायत के शासक परिवार के सदस्य के नाम पर इसका नाम करणपुर या श्रीकरणपुर पड़ा।
यह जिला मुख्यावलय श्रीगंगानर से 50 किलोमीटर दूर पड़ता है। इसके एक ओर केसरीसिंहपुर है तो दूसरी ओर रायसिंहनगर व गजसिंहपुर।

I had noticed that the station has many safety signs to educate railway users. A new foot bridge was installed which you can see in the video.
