Picture this: camping under the gentle rhythm of raindrops, surrounded by the verdant green highland forests of Kaptagat that felt like stepping into a fairytale. As we travelled to peaceful mountain tops and escarpments, the views left us in awe and craving for more. We got kissed by fluffy clouds! But it wasn't all about tranquility – brace yourself for some crazy mountain descents and steep ascents of Baringo and Marakwet roads that got our hearts pounding with exhilaration.
Our senses were assaulted by the majestic green cypress forests and the enchanting mountain indigenous forests of Kapsowar, Maron, Tenges. The air was the cleanest we've ever breathed, filling our lungs with a sense of purity and vitality. The roaring waterfalls of Embobut offered a refreshing escape, and the crystal-clear water of Flourspar were a true elixir.
And oh, the thrill of powering up and down those challenging mountain passes, with the 4.2l engine howling in 1st and 2nd gear! It was an adrenaline rush like no other, conquering every twist and turn.
Beyond the heavenly landscapes, what made this journey truly special were the people we encountered along the way. We were humbled by the warmth and hospitality of the locals, who welcomed us with open arms and shared their stories, making us feel like family.
This roadtrip showed us a very different face of Kenya – a side not often seen in mainstream travel. It was a chance to immerse ourselves in the rich culture and traditions of the region, to learn from its history, and to appreciate the diverse beauty that our incredible country has to offer.

This is Nakuru city in 2023. Nakuru is the capital of Nakuru County in Kenya, and the newest city in Kenya. We delve into an extensive tour of Nakuru to show how it looks like in 2023.
I like to call it the green city in the valley given its location in the Great Rift Valley in Kenya and also due to its high amounts of rainfall.
Nakuru at large is home to major tourist attractions such as the Lake Nakuru National Park, the Menengai Crater, Hells Gate National Park, and a number of wildlife conservancies.
The city is cosmopolitan in nature hosting people from many regions of the planet.
