ప్రకాశం జిల్లాలోని కనిగిరి పట్టణంలో ఉన్న శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వర స్వామి వారి ఆలయాన్ని ఈరోజు ఈ వీడియోలో మనం చూస్తున్నాం. ఇది కనిగిరి పట్టణం నుండి గార్లపేటకి అనే ఊరికి వెళ్లే దారిలో ఉంటుంది. ఈ వేంకటేశ్వర స్వామి వారి ఆలయంలో అష్టలక్ష్మి అమ్మ వారి ఆలయం, సరస్వతీ దేవి, అయ్యప్పస్వామి, రాముల వారి ఆలయం వీటితో పాటుగా బృందావన్ గార్డెన్స్ అని ఒకే చోట చాలా మంది దేవతా మూర్తుల విగ్రహాలు నెలకొల్పారు. ఈ వేంకటేశ్వర స్వామి వారి ఆలయంలో వివాహాలు ఎక్కువగా జరుగుతాయి వాటికోసం ఇక్కడ కొన్ని కళ్యాణ మండపాలు ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. వీడియోలో చూపించిన దానికన్నా విడిగా మనం వెళ్లి చూస్తే ఇంకా చాలా బాగుంటుంది ఎవరు అయినా ఈ కనిగిరి ప్రాంతానికి వస్తే ఒకసారి ఈ వేంకటేశ్వర స్వామి వారి ఆలయం దర్శించుకుని వెళ్ళండి.

Kanakagiri is known to get its present name from Kanaka Muni, a Hindu saint who performed penance there. The historically important Koppal city, known in ancient inscriptions as Kopana is also of archeological significance due to the discovery of two inscriptions from the rule of Emperor Ashoka at the nearby villages Palkigundu and Gavimatha. After the end of the Maurya Empire's rule over the region when Koppal had been a southern viceroyalty, Koppal passed into the hands of notable dynasties of the Deccan: the Satavahana dynasty, the Western Ganga Dynasty, the Hoysalas, and the Chalukya dynasty. The earliest available Kannada classic, the Kavirajamarga of King Nrupatunga Amoghavarsha, mentions Koppal in the sentence Viditha Maha Kopana Nagara
