People typically spend 15-45 min here with family and your dearest one. It is a beautiful place to feel like a village park covered with various types of Ficus. There is also an animal park and a children's park also.

Attahas or Fullora Attahas, is believed to be one of the 51 Shakti Peethas at which the lower lip of goddess Parvati fell here, which is about 15 to 18 feet wide. The temple is a famous site of Hindu pilgrimage throughout the year.

CHARAK Puja Festival Fair in Katwa Ballavpara West Bengal India
Charak Puja (also known as Nil Puja) is a Hindu folk festival, held in southern Bangladesh and West Bengal on the last day of the month of Chaitra (in Bengali calendarscalled Choitro).
Similar festival in Maharashtra is called Bagad, while in Vizianagram, Andhra Pradesh it is called as Sirimanu utsavam.
People believe that the festival will carry prosperity by eliminating the sorrow and sufferings of the previous year. The festival is actually a festival to satisfy Lord Shiva, the great Debadideb of Hindu Religion. Though the festival takes place on the mid night of Chaitra Songkranti, the preparation phase usually starts before one month of the day.
The arrangement team of the festival go from village to village to procure the necessary components like paddy, oil, sugar, salt, honey, money and other items with the arranged cosmetics such as Shiva, Parvati and Narod. The cosmetic Shiva is locally called Nil Pagol or Jal Katha. On midnight of the Songkranti, the worshippers are gathered together to worship the God and after puja the prasad is distributed.

SHAKTIPEETH OF WEST BENGAL | माता सती के 51 शक्तिपीठ | MA JOGADYA | SATIPITH JOGADYA | KSHIRGRAM JOGADYA MANDIR | HISTORY AND MYSTERY OF MAA JOGADYA TEMPLE
Kshirgram is an ancient village under Mongalkote Police Station in the district of Bardhaman. The village is well connected by road. Its distance is around 40 Kms from Bardhaman and 20 kms from Katwa. The nearest Railway Railway station is Kaichar which is around 4 kms from here from Kolkata 165 kms.
According to mythology ,the right great toe of Goddess Sati had been dropped here in the time of Dakshya Joggya . The goddess is named as Jogadya . The specialty of this particular Sati pith is that the name of Kshirgram is mentioned in all of the Tantras ,i.e 1) Kujjika tantra ,2) Brihanil Tantra, 3) Gandharbha Tantra, 4)Tantrasaar, 5)Tantrachuramani, 6)Annada Mangal,7) Mahapith Nirapanam,8)Shiva Charitha. By the way Kamrup ,Nepal, Prayag, & Kshirgram (Kshirika) these four shakti piths are mentioned in each of the above Tantras.
Besides all of these, Kshirgram is famous for another reason also. According to Ramayana, Mahi Ravan had kidnapped both of Lord Shri Ram & Lakshman and kept them in Patal. Actually Mahi Ravan was a devotee of Goddess Bhadrakali . Lord Hanuman Went to Patal and escaped from there along with Lord Ram and Lakshman by killing Mahi Ravan,during that time Lord Hanuman also took the idol of Devi Bhadrakali and set up the idol in Kshirgram. Later, Devi Bhadrakali had been renamed as Jogadya.
You can reach Kshirgram by bus from Katwa & Burdwan. If you come by train from Howrah railway station,Kolkata. You have to get down at Kaichar railway station which is 36 km away from Burdwan and 20 km away from Katwa. Kshirgram is just 4 km away from Kaichar. You can travel by rikshaw and bus etc.
People from all corners throng at this sacred spot to find there salvation. Enough arrangements are made to provide their fooding and lodgings in new temple area.
