We bought it to Concecao de Jacarei
To make your way to Paraty - we took the ferry to a mainland port town called Angra dos Reís
and from the port we made our way to the bus stop (just turn right and keep going) , NOT the bus station and here we waited to board a public bus to Paraty.
To get to Iguazu fall you need to fly to Foz do Iguaçu from Brazil.
If you are making your way from Argentina, you need to fly to Puerto Iguazu.

Today, we're going to explore the top 5 beaches of Paraíba, a state that is famous for its beaches, cliffs, and culture. Get ready to discover the hidden gems of the Northeast!
Beach 1: Praia de Tambaú
Our first stop is Praia de Tambaú, a beach that is the heart of João Pessoa, the capital of Paraíba. This beach has a long promenade that you can walk or bike on, as well as a variety of bars and restaurants that you can taste the local cuisine in. Fun fact: Praia de Tambaú was the location of the Brazilian TV series Mulheres de Areia in 1993, which became a classic of the genre and portrayed the rivalry and love of twin sisters.
Beach 2: Praia de Coqueirinho
Next, we have Praia de Coqueirinho, a beach that is a paradise for surfers, divers, and nature lovers. This beach has cliffs that you can hike or rappel down, as well as a coral reef that you can snorkel or dive in. As principais atrações de João Pessoa são: As piscinas naturais do Picãozinho, as Piscinas naturais do Seixas, a Areia Vermelha, o Centro Cultural São Francisco, o Centro Histórico, o Parque Solon de Lucena, a Estação Cabo Branco, a Igreja Nossa Senhora do Carmo, a Ponta do Seixas, o Mercado de Artesanato Paraibano, a Feirinha de Tambaú, o Por do Sol na Praia do Jacaré ao som do Bolero de Ravel de Jurandir do Sax, a Fortaleza de Santa Catarina, a Praça dos 3 poderes, além dos passeios de bugue.
Além disso há passeios para praias mais distantes como para a Praia do Coqueirinho no município de Conde - PB e para a Praia de Tambaba que é uma praia de nudismo.
A capital da Paraíba foi fundada em 1585, sendo a 3ª capital de estado mais antiga do Brasil, também reconhecida como a 2ª cidade mais verde do mundo. Em sua orla foi proibida a construção de edifícios altos para preservação das praias.
É da Ponta do Seixas, o ponto mais oriental das Américas, onde o sol nasce primeiro, antes das 5h da manhã e se põe por volta das 17:30h. De segunda a sábado, a principal avenida da orla é fechada até às 8h para o tráfego de veículos para prática de esportes.

I was very excited to visit this place because some foreigners and other Brazilians bragged about the city being the best in the Northeast of Brazil, for safety and quality of life. The state of Paraíba is known for being an agricultural state with several industries so its economy is good. The street and beaches look very clean due to renovations
It's also famous for having praia de seixas, that's the land area geographically closest to Africa. Part of this video shows this tour. In fact, João Pessoa has several beach tours whereas Natal has more sand dune tours, which I show in another video.
Praia de Tambau and Praia de Cabo branco are the most popular beaches so there are plenty of tourists, but the area didn't have that charm that's seen in Rio. It really seemed mostly calm scene including calm waves even though there were many tourists.
Just two blocks from the beach, the city appears robust and busy with plenty of traffic. There aren't any tall buildings near the beach like you see in Fortaleza but you can say that's a good thing because Fortaleza is more hectic. You also don't see as many people walking as much as those driving.
