►What to learn Spanish? Start your FREE TRIAL:

In our third and final Oaxaca, Mexico vlog—not forever, just from this trip—we visited El Arbol de Tule, enjoyed more delicious Oaxacan food, gawked at the beautiful interior of Templo de Santo Domingo, and chatted about Oaxaca City as a whole.

The majority of this video is an in-depth look at:
1. Oaxaca City and how it compares to other Mexican cities we’ve visited.
2. What we like and dislike about Oaxaca
3. Would we live in Oaxaca?
4. What we think of the food, culture, art, walkability, rentals, transportation, and more.

Be sure to watch the first two videos we made in Oaxaca City, Mexico if you want to see more of this magical city. In these two videos, we visit nearby cities filled with rich culture and traditions, try TONS of tasty food in Oaxaca, and explore the city on foot.

Biologically Intense Place on Earth Osa Peninsula Costa Rica

Most Biologically Intense Place on Earth Osa Peninsula Costa Rica - Osa Peninsula Wildlife

Let’s explore a place that National Geographic magazine refers to as “the most biologically intense place on earth”...the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica. Discover what the wildlife of Osa Peninsula has to offer: crocodiles, frogs, water birds, snakes, bats, lizards, and more. Check out the Monkey Tour where you’ll see lots of resident animals and learn interesting facts about the local wildlife.

The Osa Peninsula is a peninsula located in southwestern Costa Rica, in the Puntarenas Province, with the Pacific Ocean to the west and the Golfo Dulce to the east. The peninsula was formed geologically by a faulting system that extends north into California.

If you're a nature-loving slow traveler looking for a new destination in the natural beauty of a tropical rainforest, we can't think of a better place than the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica.

Named by National Geographic as “the most biologically intense place on earth,” the Osa Peninsula is a true jewel of land, water, and life. Covering an area of just 700 square miles on the southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica, the Osa's geological history makes it home to a nearly unparalleled amount of biodiversity.

8 Reasons Why Americans LEAVE Costa Rica [Why I Left]

The TRUTH about living in Costa Rica: Why do so many Americans leave Costa Rica after moving there? In this video, I explain what causes expats to change their minds about retiring abroad and why I left Costa Rica after 8 years. Some of the initial reasons that people want to move to Costa Rica include the moderate climate, laid back lifestyle, fresh and healthy food, friendly people, beaches, medical tourism, and the low cost of living. But is Costa Rica really a safe and friendly country or is it actually dangerous and expensive? Once they arrive, many people realize that living in Costa Rica wasn't quite what they expected. Unfortunately, that results in people returning home quite soon after arriving.

After helping more than 500 foreigners move to Costa Rica and living there for eight years, this video explains the top reasons why people move back to the USA and why I left, too, so that you know more about what to expect BEFORE you get there. This is the real and sometimes dark truth about living in Costa Rica. What do you think are the biggest pros and cons of living in Costa Rica? Let us know in the comments.
