Ajodhya Hills, Purulia, West Bengal (Tourist spot)
Ajodhya Hills, is a small plateau with hilly surroundings located in the Purulia district of the state West Bengal, India. It is the easternmost part of the Chhotanagpur Plateau and extended part of Eastern Ghats range It is a popular place for young mountaineers to learn the basic course in rock climbing. There are three routes available to reach Ajodhya Hills. Via Jhalda, via Sirkabad and via Baghmundi. There are two Forest Rest Houses here, one at Ajodhya hill top and the other is at Matha range office.

Sikra pahar is one of the most beautiful place in Purulia District near Jhalda Town. It is near about 5 km from Jhalda Town. You can walk or take auto from Jhalda Town. Very good if you can arrive early in the morning. There is a road on the side of the hill which you will enjoy walking in the morning. There are idols of some gods at the foot of the hill, and they are worshiped. There is no need to spend a lot of time in the place, you will feel better if you give some time. There are many hills in Purulia that are unknown to us.
झालदा टाउन के पास पुरुलिया जिले में सिकरा पहाड़ सबसे खूबसूरत जगहों में से एक है। यह झालदा टाउन से लगभग 5 किमी दूर है। झालदा टाउन से आप पैदल चल सकते हैं या ऑटो ले सकते हैं। बहुत अच्छा अगर आप सुबह जल्दी आ सकते हैं। पहाड़ी के किनारे एक सड़क है जिसे आप सुबह टहलते हुए एन्जॉय करेंगे। पहाड़ी की तलहटी में कुछ देवताओं की मूर्तियाँ हैं, और उनकी पूजा की जाती है। जगह में ज्यादा समय बिताने की जरूरत नहीं है, आप थोड़ा समय दें तो बेहतर महसूस करेंगे। पुरुलिया में ऐसी कई पहाड़ियाँ हैं जिनसे हम अनजान हैं।

Tourist Spot, শিকরা পাহাড় ঝালদা, পুরুলিয়া। Shikra Hill Jhalda, Purulia, Purulia
Shikra hill is located 2 km away from Jhalda township and approximately 850 metre from Jhalda Hospital (BPHC), next to the railway level crossing. This small his approximately 400 metre high from mean sea level. This hill is covered with small vegetation at the apex area and gully erosion by surface water has been observed. A railway line of Kotshila-Muri section passes in front of the hill. One can observe this hill while travelling by train from either side. It can be visible from more than 5 km of both side. An important road goes to Gola of Jharkhand.
