Today on our journey we are ready to take you on a breathtaking adventure to a Nordic country in northern Europe. This is our spectacular adventure to the Kingdom of Norway.
Norway’s total land area is 385,207 square kilometers, and it is World’s 61st place. The first inhabitants were the Ahrens burg in the late upper Paleolithic era. Its current population is 5,391,369 and is considered the world’s 118th place, and most of the population is Nordic. The Kingdom of Norway shares over 1619km long border with Sweden in the east. Norway borders Finland and Russia to the northeast, the Skagerrak Strait to the south, and Denmark on the other side.

Geirangerfjord, the most beautiful Place in Norway
Geiranger is a small Village in west of Norway, it is located at the end of the Geiranger Fjord, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the most beautiful Fjord in Norway.
Surrounded by mountain and Waterfalls, the view is out of this world, best to enjoy during the summer time and when the weather is good.
You will also see the famous Seven Sisters Waterfall alongside the Fjord, and it is breathtaking.

Gryta Camping is situated close to Oldevatnet lake in Oldedalen (Stryn). Camp site is surrounded by thousand meters high mountains and lush nature. It is an ideal destination to relax and enjoy, far from hectic city life. The campsite is also a good starting point for both large and small mountain walks. It is nice to stroll along the lake to pick ground strawberries - or you can climb one or more of the many mountain peaks we are surrounded by. You can get tour tips and good tips at reception. Just 10 minutes away lies the Briksdalsbreen (Briksdal Glacier).

Countryside walk to 3000 year old petroglyphs - Life in Norway 2022
Join us for a countryside walk in beautiful sunny weather to see Bronze Age figures and bowl pits in the forest - West Norway 2022.
This was filmed in Varga - outside Os in Bjørnafjord - West Norway.
In the Bronze Age, the sea was higher than now, and the boat carried a little further into the bay. If you walk a short distance from the water and into the forest, you are suddenly 3000 years back in time.
16 figures and 31 bowl pits have been found on a vertical rock surface. It is the ship figures that dominate and that characterize the carving surface. As many as 13 ships can be seen, some whole and clear and some weathered, so that only parts of them are visible. The ship is drawn as a simple line with curved trunks and short, vertical lines that may mark the crew.
It is so strange to think that someone was there and made these petroglyphs 3000 years ago!
