Baba Gorakhnath is a unique manifestation of Lord Shiva as found in 11th century Gorekhnath Temple, located 5-km away from Jagatsinghpur along Cuttack-Paradeep road. It is believed that wonder-worker of yoga and penance, Gorakhnath is worshipped as a famous saint of miracles and an outstanding teacher of a set of ascetics like, Hatha Yoga and its followers are known as Nath Yogis. Gorakhnath was seeking for a teacher, he offered a loaf of bread on peepal leaf at the seashore and a fish swallowed it and several years later, a baby boy was born and Lord Shiva named him Matseyendra, who later became spiritual teacher of Gorakhnath helping him to attain enlightenment.
Baba Gorakhnath is said to be a pure incarnation of ‘Pashupatinath’. The motto of his preaching was that ‘all humans should work towards their enlightenment’. It is said that Baba Gorakhnath meditated under a big banyan tree and an enormous anthill grew over him and that dedication helped him to attain great power. That tree where today people tie sacred thread with red bangles and red holy cloth as an offering for their wishes to be granted.

Siali sea beach in Jagatsinghpur district was the main destination of our republic day ride 2021 with xbhp : bhubaneswar.
This is a major tourist sea beach in Jagatsinghpur district apart from paradeep sea beach know for the paradeep port. Other popular destination in the district is Jhankada maa sarala pitha.
After the unplanned boat ride to hansua river sea mouth ( we started our journey to siali sea beach. It took about 15 minutes to reach the siali sea beach.
This is a picturesque virgin sea beach surrounded by greeneries of
Casuarina, Kaju trees. The narrow road surrounded by fisheries leads you to to sea beach.
A guest house and envy resort is present near by for overnight stay. Watchtower, toilet, snacks facilities are present in the beach.

Dhyankud Jagannath Temple: Dhankud Lord Jagannath Temple is located in the Jagatsinghpur district of Odisha. The temple is located near Astasambhu Temple. The shrine of Lord Jagannath is one of the famous Jagannath temples in the state. The name Dhankud comes from the word Dhyan meaning “Meditation”. It is said that the Panchasakhas were doing meditation in this place.Pancha Sakha’s – Five Odia poets emerged during the late 15th and 16th centuries: Balaram Das, Atibadi Jagannath Das, Achyutananda Das, Ananta Das, and Jasobanta Das. Although they wrote over a span of one hundred years they are collectively known as the “Panchasakhas”, since they adhered to the same school of thought, Utkaliya Vaishnavism.The word “Pancha” means five and the word “Sakha”, friend. Balaram Das’s Jagamohan Ramayan provided one pillar, along with Sarala-Das’s Mahabharata, upon which subsequent Odia literature was built. His Laksmi Purana is considered the first manifesto of women’s liberation or feminism in Indian literature.
