Old Town Square, Prague Travel Video | We Travel
On the Old Town Square, Prague which in Czech is called “Starometske Namesti” stands the Old Town Hall, the Tyn Church, and one can see the towers of the Magazine and the towers of the Charles Bridge, all built in the same fashion. The square itself is approximately 9000 square meters; its shape and size had been decided around 1230 AD by King Wenceslas I. The 800 years passed since then made their mark.
The famous clock of the Town Hall, the “Prague Orloj” was designed by Nicholas of Copenhagen, and was later modified by clock masters Hanus and Taborsky.
The word “Tyn” means market, so the Tyn Church means “a church standing in the market square”. The gothic building with the archway on the eastern side of the square is partly hiding the Church. There was a school here where the famous architect, Matej Rejsek, taught.
The buildings of the Old Town Square were named – according to medieval tradition - after the residents, their purpose or their sculptures. This music school is called Smetana and was established by the composer himself.
The Roman buildings of the Old Town were 2-3 meters below sea level, so every spring, when the Vltava flooded, they were in danger. The area was artificially banked up at the end of the 13th century, so the first floor of the Roman buildings became the basement for the gothic houses. Along the city wall there was a deep moat, which was filled up at the same time. It became the inner boulevard, similarly to Vienna’s Ring and the Graben.
The Old Town Square is still the heart of Prague.

Dresden is the capital of the German Free State of Saxony and a major centre of culture with a remarkable history.The Wettner Dynasty developed the old town during eight hundred years of power and Friedrich August The First, known as ,The Strong, became its most prominent figure. He had the Zwinger, a kind of outdoor banqueting hall that was intended to be a meeting place of the nobility, designed by the architect, Poppelmann, and sculptor, Balthasar Permoser. As a centre of art and science, Dresden Castle contains a number of collections that are well known throughout the world and draw international visitors to this most ambitiously conceived and successful project. Close by, the stable courtyard is the world's oldest original tournament area of its kind. Its Tuscan-arched arcades originated in the Renaissance period and were used by spectators during various tournaments and entertainments. Count Brühl, a follower of Friedrich August The Second, was presented with the Elb Wall as a gift and had a mile-long walkway built for the nobility. It is ten metres above the banks of the River Elbe and is accessed via an external staircase from Castle Square. Today, Dresden is a harmony of both architecture and landscape and a brilliant work of art!

Tentokrát se vydáváme z Ústí nad Labem, přes Klíše a Bukov, dále směr Libouchec, Jílové a Děčín. Byl krásný západ slunce a tak to stálo se přidat. Vide je nafilmováno kamero SJCAM, nikoho ve snímku neosočuji jaký je řidič. Jedná se o video s free hudbou. Pokud máte nějaká místa, která stojí za video určitě posílejte do zprávy. Postupně sem nahrávám všechny možné cesty na prací nebo výletem.

We will drive through by the rounte 105 and then by the route 11432 passing places like Dolní Jirčany, Štědřík, Psáry, Jílové u Prahy, Kamenný Přívoz, Borovka, Tloskov, Břevnice, Živohošť

Prague trip - 1st part

My first video about trips is from Prague in Czechia. In this part I was on Žižkov highline, where is perfect view to trains, so if you like trains, this spot will be awesome. Next stop is Vítkov monument with epic view to Prague. And last stop is in Karlin synagoge. Another experiences from Prague going to be in next part :) leave a like and see you next time :)

Je zde nádherná vyhlídka na projíždějící vlaky, takže pokud máte rádi vlaky, určitě toto místo navštivte. Dále se vydáme na již zmíněný Vítkovský památník s krásným výhledem na Prahu.
