In today’s video I’m taking a look at the most beautiful towns in Colorado and the prettiest places to visit. The vast Rocky Mountains draw in visitors looking for a laidback vacation with amazing culture and attractions.
Enjoy a jam-packed day in one of the national parks or ski at one of the largest resorts in the country. Whatever you choose you won’t be disappointed as each of these towns offers stunning views and one-of-a-kind scenery.
Some of the towns on this list are lesser known and include some hidden gems. As a local, I go off the tourist path to find some unique and scenic towns to visit and with little tourist crowds.
From skiing and snowboarding in the winter to hiking, and camping in the summer, outdoor activities are a way of life in Colorado. The Centennial State is an ideal travel destination and one of the best places to visit for outdoor pursuits in every season.

Every year, 3 million tourists come visit the Black Hills of South Dakota and Mt Rushmore is the main attraction they want to see in the Black Hills. But there are a lot more things to do and things to see in the Black Hills and South Dakota than just Mount Rushmore National Park: Custer State Park, Devils Tower, the Badlands National Park, Wall Drugs, the Minuteman Missile Site, the historic town of Deadwood, the Crazy Horse Memorial, Rapid City, the Needles Highway, the Iron Mountain Road, the Black Hills National Forrest, and the Wind Cave National Park, among others. Let's Visit Iron Mountain, MI
Located in the Menominee Range, Iron Mountain is a cool city to visit in the western Upper Peninsula of Michigan. With its roots in the iron ore industry, the city has quite a bit to offer from a nice downtown and a large ski jump to a former iron ore mine in nearby Vulcan, MI. The Iron Mountain Iron Mine gives you the opportunity to go deep into a mountain to see where iron miners used to work back in the day.

500 Step Challenge is No Joke | Iron Mountain, Michigan
Are you looking for things to do in Iron Mountain, Michigan? These steps at TimberStone Ski & Golf Resort are a workout! We visited in July 2020 and there was construction going on up top and we couldn't get all the way to the top to complete the entire 500 step challenge. The property is very nice and the restaurant would be a nice place to have lunch after concurring the steps.
