I went hiking the deadliest hiking trail in the world in Huashan mountain near Xi'an, China. It was one of the best experiences I ever had.
Morning time around 6am I woke up and a driver picked me up to take me to the base of Huashan mountain. once I got to the base of Mount Hua I got my tickets to get in the mountain and got the cable car which takes around 10 minutes to go up.
If you take huashan cable car you skip a couple thousand steps but still once you reach up with the cable car you still have to walk around 3500 steps.
Hiking huashan mountain can be one of the deadliest hiking trail in the world because of its safety, once you are going up there is no much protection for you and false step can get you injured very easily in these deadliest hiking trails.
The most famous part of huashan mountain in china is the cliffside plank walk. This huashan cliffside plank walk is very scary and famous for how high it is. This cliffside plank walk attracts many tourists and the queue to go to it may take up to 3 or 4 hours.
I took a whole day to hike huashan mountain, I made a lot of pictures and videos and I even used my drone there. Hiking mount huashan is a bit scary but at the same time you will love it by the pictures you will be able to get.
And this cliffside plank walk is one of the deadliest hiking trails in the world because some people take off their harness so they can have better pictures and once you take it off, one false step and you are gone.

In 2008, I walked through China - 1 year, 4500km. I let my hair and my beard grow. This is the resulting video. UPDATE: ▶ I have decided to continue my walk home from China to Germany. I'm currently in Turkey, or about halfway through.I post daily videos on this channel, and I blog about it here:
ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
▶ I didn't finish my original goal of walking to Germany in 2008. Instead, I walked for a year and roughly 4500km, passed the Gobi desert, and then decided to stop walking.
▶ All of the distance from Beijing to Ürümqi was completed solely on foot, straight good old walking. There are instances where you can see me in the video sitting on a plane or riding a boat, but those are during breaks I had to take from walking, either to sort out bureaucracy issues or to take care of some personal things.
▶ I had been planning this trip for over a year before I even started, and getting as far as I got was an experience for which I am very grateful.
▶ Obtaining the necessary visa for a trip like this was not very easy, hence I had to go back to Beijing a few times to resolve some issues.
▶ This is not a strict 1 pic a day video, because I wanted to make it a bit more alive by adding some additional movement. Sometimes during the film you would follow me turn around, or something would happen in the background. I tried to capture these moments to make the video more interesting.

Mount Huashan is especiallly famous as the root of Chinese culture and civilization. On this one of the Five Mountains in China, you will encounter with the world most dangerous hiking trail.
Moreover, Mount Huashan is regarded as the “No. 1 perilous mountain in China”, so a lot of riskers and mountaineers have been visiting this famous site to experience its heart-stopping dangerous plank paths on the cliffs. However, along the way to and on the 5 peaks in Mount Huashan tourist area, you could appreciate breath-taking sunrise, sunset, sea of clouds, powerful mountain scenery, a series of interesting places to invigorate your go.
Huashan Plank Walk, Changkong Plank Trail is the most dangerous in the world. This over 700 year old plank trail was constructed at the South Peak by He Zhizhen who cultivated himself to be an immortal at Mount Huashan and put up wood together with stone pins knocked in the vertical cliff. The trail is only more than 30 centimeters with no handrail but only iron chains on the cliff for you to seize. Passing this cool path, you should face cliff, and if you look down, there is no place could be seen even hundreds of meters deep. From ancient time to nowadays, continuous groups of people including scholars and celebrities have been visiting this Huashan trail to experience its danger and test their braveness. Huashan Mountain is located in Huayin City, Shaanxi Province, between 109°57′—110°05′ east longitude and 34°25′—34°00′ north latitude. It is 15 kilometers long from east to west and 10 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of about 148 square kilometers.
Huashan, called Xiyue in ancient times, elegantly called Taihua Mountain, is one of the five mountains.
The Hua of China originated from Mount Hua, and as a result, Mount Hua has the name Root of China. Huashan is the sacred place of Taoism mainstream Quanzhen sect. It is the fourth cave of heaven. It is also a deity widely worshipped by the Chinese people, namely, the god of Mount Huashan. There are 72 semi-suspended caves and more than 20 Taoist temples. Among them, Yuquanyuan, Dulong Temple, Dongdaoyuan, and Zhenyue Palace are listed as national key Taoist temples. There are famous Taoist temples such as Chen Tuan, Hao Datong, He Yuanxi, etc. people.
In 1982, Huashan was rated as the first batch of national-level scenic spots. In 2004, Mount Hua was rated as one of the top ten famous mountains in China. In 2011, Huashan was rated as a national AAAAA tourist attraction by the National Tourism Administration.

Mount Hua (Hua Shan), located in Huayin City (near Xi’an), Shaanxi Province,
has been called the most dangerous mountain in the world since ancient times
and is also the most dangerous of the Five Mountains.
Its southern peak is 2,154.90 meters above sea level, the highest peak of Mount Hua,
and also the highest peak of the Five Mountains. It is also a sacred place
for the mainstream Quanzhen Sect of Taoism in China.
When you come to Mount Hua, you must experience the West Peak Ropeway,
with a total slope length of 4211 meters and a relative height difference of 894 meters,
to feel the thrill and excitement of sitting in the air.
It is the world's first single-line circular off-ramp ropeway that takes the cliff wall
to excavate the chamber station, undulating towards and setting up the middle station.
A total investment of more than 500 million yuan was made in its construction.
The Long Sky Trail is one of the most dangerous attractions of Mount Hua,
located on the east side of the South Peak (the highest peak), with a history of more than 700 years.
It was built by He Zhizhen, the first patriarch of the Huashan Sect in the Yuan Dynasty,
to get away from the world to meditate and become immortal, by inlaying stone nails
and building wooden rafters on the ten-thousand-foot wall.
There are precipitous cliffs and iron ropes hanging from the top and bottom of the stack.
Visitors must wear safety ropes to experience.
In ancient China, high mountains were considered to be higher than the sky and were worshiped as Yue.
The Five Mountains are the five most famous mountains in Chinese traditional culture.
The Five Mountains are Mount Songshan (1492 meters above sea level, Henan Province),
Mount Tai (1545 meters above sea level, Shandong Province), Mount Huashan (2160 meters above sea level),
and Mount Huashan (2160 meters above sea level),
Mount Huashan (2160.5 meters above sea level, Shaanxi Province),
Mount Hengshan (1300.2 meters above sea level, Hunan Province),
and Mount Hengshan (2016.8 meters above sea level, Shanxi Province).

Famously known as the mountain with one of the world’s “Most Dangerous Hiking Trail”, Huashan (华山) is one of the Five Great Mountains of China.
There's 5 peaks on Huashan (North, South, East, West, Centre), with trails linking them all. Only 2 of the peaks are equipped with cable car service (North and West).
On the day of our visit, the longer/higher West peak cable car service was closed due to strong winds. Thus we could only use the North peak cable car to visit North Peak 华山北峰 (lowest of the peaks). With a kid in tow, it wasn't convenient to attempt the climb from North peak to the other peaks. Thus we only explored the area around North Peak, which itself is more than scenic.
