Top 14. Tourist Attractions & Things to Do in Olympic National Park, Washington: Hurricane Ridge, Ruby Beach, Hoh Rain Forest, Olympic National Forest, Crescent Lake, Rialto Beach, Sol Duc Falls, Second Beach Trail, Hurricane Ridge Visitors Center, Quinault Rain Forest, Shi Shi Beach, Hoh River, Sol Duc Hot Springs

TOP THINGS TO DO IN OCEAN SHORES | OCEAN SHORES REVIEW

Come with us as we show you the top things to do in Ocean Shores. We head out to Ocean Shores. Washington and take you around the little beach town that has a lot of different activities and things to do.

1st thing is Exploring the beach. Its the best thing to do while out at ocean shores with plenty of ways to access it and roughly 8 miles of beach line to explore, you will always have somewhere to go and explore.

2nd thing to do is explore the Jetty. The jetty is a man made sea wall at the south end of Ocean shores. The big boulder rocks go out into the ocean and protect the beaches from erosion and goes 1500 ft out into the ocean. While you are hear you can fish, get some amazing pictures, watch the waves crash on the jetty and sometimes you can even find treasures tucked in between the rocks. So much to do here is why its one of the top things to do here at Ocean Shores.

3rd thing is all the different activities to do. You can rent bicycles, electric bikes and scooter to ride around town in. This is one of the best places to ride scooter in Washington due to it’s slow speed limit around town where there is no where above 35 mph. You can also fly kites out on the beach and also go dig for razor clams (during appropriate times and with a license).

4th thing to do is go shopping. You need to stock up on items or get the souvenir to help remember your trip, there are plenty of places around ocean shores to get your shop on. The most famous store in town is Sharkey’s which most a huge 15+ foot shark head on the front of the building. Here you can get Salt water taffy, ice cream and all the T-shirts and magnets you could ever want.

5th thing to do is go get some good food. We ended up eating at Bennett’s fish shack in the heart of town and had some great portions of fish and chips and clam chowder. Other great restaurants to go to are Moby Dicks and Home Port Seafood and Steaks. And if you are wanting some pizza , Dugan’s is you place to go where they have some pretty good pizza.

Kurt Cobain's FIRST House (Hoquiam, near Aberdeen)

When it comes to Nirvana & Kurt Cobain, the famous house on east first street in Aberdeen Washington is often thought of as Kurt Cobain's first home. But in truth, the east first street house isn't his first house: Kurt Cobain's first house is in Hoquiam, the town directly to the west of Aberdeen. In this video, I take a look at this piece of Nirvana history which is sometimes overlooked.

Spending a Day at Sequim Washington in 2020

Sequim is known for their beautiful lavender fields which generally take place in the spring / summer months of June - July.

Sequim is located along the western bank in the state of Washington.

This was my first time coming to Sequim in the winter months so I wasn't necessarily sure what to expect.

If you're the type of person to enjoy visiting small quiet towns, then Sequim is the right place for you!

What Sequim is primarily known for is their lavender fields as well as their lavender festival which occurs every July. Unfortunately due to the Covid - 19 Pandemic, the lavender festival was cancelled.

However, it doesn't mean that Sequim isn't worth visiting. The city still provides that feelings of a small home-town community. You'll be greeted by locals as well as visitors looking to get away from the big city and enjoy the sights and sounds of a small town.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Some of the places we visited during our day trip here include:

Salty Girls Seafood:
Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a good place for seafood and beer. Make sure to try their fresh and succulent oysters!

Hurricane Coffee:
A nice quiet place to get your coffee fix. They have a unique set of flavors that fit the town setting. Try out their Dark Raspberry Mocha!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Make sure to check out some of the local shops and boutiques which in order to support the local community!

I didn't get a chance to check out the other stores, but definitely take the time to visit Sequim.

(Note: the timing of this video occurred before dropping back down to phase I and the increased restrictions on traveling. Always follow safety protocols and wear your mask!)

Oregon and Washington Coast, USA in 4K (Save your tears - The Weeknd)

The coast of the American Pacific Northwest is a must see area when you are traveling in Oregon and Washington. The Pacific temperate rainforest keeps the area very green all year round due to the amount of rain it receives. However, weather changes constantly in this region and therefore you can catch some sun if you are patient enough or if you visit during the summer months. The rock formations along the coast are spectacular and you can see seals, orcas, and all kinds of birds. However, if you are lucky enough you will be able to see a bald eagle! This video features Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor, Deception Pass, Deception Pass Bridge, and Bridle Trails Park. Hope you enjoy the video.

Tour of the Washington Coast

Flew to Quillayute Airport in my DA40 and met up with a friend. We rode our bikes 10 miles roundtrip to Rialto Beach, then we flew down to Hoquiam. It was a perfect weather day with almost no wind. Quillayute has quite a history. It was built during WWII for planes that patrol the coast looking for enemy aircraft.

Exploring by Car the Aberdeen Highlands in Aberdeen, Washington | 4K Realtime Scenic Driving

I have made a video driving through town on Highway 101 so I thought it would be fun to get off of the main road. A subscriber suggested that I tour the Highlands, what amazing views people living there have of the city and bay! This video shows another part of Aberdeen that I never new existed. To get through Hoquiam I had to go back to the highway, there are no houses in the hills on this side of the city.
