Hrad Točník - Točník Castle
Točník je zřícenina hradu v Středočeském kraji, 2 km severně od města Žebrák, v okrese Beroun. Hrad založil Václav IV. Nyní je ve vlastnictví státu (správu zajišťuje Národní památkový ústav) a je přístupný veřejnosti. Hrad je chráněn jako kulturní památka a spolu se zříceninou Žebráku jako národní kulturní památka.
Vlastní dějiny hradu Točníka začínají koncem 14. století, kdy jej jako honosné reprezentační sídlo nechal zbudovat král český a římský Václav IV. Bezprostředním popudem byl zřejmě požár dolního hradu Žebráka roku 1395. Místo obtížné přestavby Žebráka, který se kvůli své poloze na úzkém skalním ostrohu nedal příliš rozšířit, nechal panovník zbudovat větší hrad na větším kopci. Kromě pohodlí přitom zajisté myslel i na větší bezpečnost, neboť jeho vláda byla provázena četnými konflikty s panstvem – v roce 1394 byl dokonce zajat přívrženci svého bratra Zikmunda a delší dobu vězněn v Praze a později ve Vídni. České země zdecimované morovou ranou v roce 1380 zažívaly tou dobou pomalý ústup z výsluní, na které je vynesl Václavův otec Karel IV., a na obzoru už se chystala husitská revoluce. Václav tehdy často utíkal z Prahy a uchyloval se na své hrady v Křivoklátských lesích, především na Křivoklát a později právě na Žebrák a Točník. Kromě příležitostí k honitbě mu na poloze Točníka vyhovovala především blízkost významné zemské stezky z Prahy do Norimberka.
První léta 15. století byla pro nový hrad zároveň i zlatou érou. I když Václav IV. přišel roku 1400 o korunu římského krále, hlavní brána byla stále vyzdobena znaky mnoha zemí, jejichž korunu si Václav nárokoval. Po Václavově smrti připadl hrad jeho bratru Zikmundovi, ten se však v Čechách příliš nezdržoval, a tak Točník přečkal husitskou revoluci jako zástava v držení Seinsheimů a později Kolovratů. Jelikož šlo o rody katolické, staly se hrady Žebrák i Točník roku 1425 terčem husitského útoku. Bezmála osmitisícové vojsko oba hrady po tři dny obléhalo a poté neúspěšně odtáhlo dál, směrem ke katolické Plzni.

RegioJet is a Czech open access passenger railway company founded in 2009 and headquartered in Brno. RegioJet is a subsidiary of Student Agency partnered with Keolis and operates in the Czech Republic, and through its daughter company also in Slovakia. Since 2015, RegioJet is also a brand of the bus transport operated by Student Agency and by the Slovak company of RegioJet.
In the Czech Republic, RegioJet operates trains between Prague and Havířov, with some trains continuing to Návsí and two services running onwards to Slovakia through Žilina, one to Košice and the other to Martin. On 14 June 2015 the service was extended with the addition of a night train between Prague and Košice running every Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

In 1980 Škoda produced ES 499.1001 and 1002 as prototype locomotives for the replacement of the existing ČSD fleet. Production series locomotives started to be delivered in 1984. Two single system derivatives were also created S 499.2 (AC) and E 499.3 (DC). During 1990 further development to run at 140 km/h lead to the ČD Class 362, but an order for 30 locos was canceled due to financial problems. Some ČD Class 363 and ŽSR Class 363 locomotives are being rebuilt as 362s.

České dráhy (ČD) or Czech Railways is the main railway operator in the Czech Republic. In 2010 its consolidated revenues reached CZK 41.0 billion (€1.6bn, $2.1bn). The company was established in 1993, after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia as a successor of the Czechoslovak State Railways. It is a member of the International Railway Union (UIC Country Code for Czech Republic is 54), Community of European Railways and the Organization for Railways Cooperation (Asia and Europe).
Until 1 July 2008, České dráhy was the biggest employer in the Czech Republic. After experiencing regular losses and requiring government subsidies, the railway reported its first ever profit in 2007 although it receives government subsidies. Attempts to make it more efficient are currently ongoing and a recent plan to move passenger transport to an independent subsidiary was approved by the Czech government in January 2008.

Ostrava (Polish: Ostrawa, German: Ostrau or Mährisch Ostrau) is a city in the north-east of the Czech Republic and is the capital of the Moravian-Silesian Region. It is 15 km (9 mi) from the border with Poland, at the meeting point of four rivers: the Odra, Opava, Ostravice and Lučina.
Ostrava is the transport and logistics hub of the north-eastern part of the Czech Republic. 25 km (16 mi) south of the city centre is an international airport, Leoš Janáček Airport Ostrava, which links the city with several European destinations (IATA code: OSR; ICAO code: LKMT). It is the first airport in the Czech Republic to have its own rail link.
Ostrava is also a major railway hub, sited on Railway Corridors II and III and serving as an important centre for cargo and passenger transport between the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia. The city's largest railway stations are the main station (Ostrava-hlavní nádraží) and Ostrava-Svinov. These stations are important railway junctions. salutations my friends. this is a map of Prague. Prague is situated on the Vltava river. The Berounka flows into the Vltava in the suburbs of Lahovice. There are 99 watercourses in Prague with a total length of 340 km. The longest streams are Rokytka and Botič.
There are 3 reservoirs, 37 ponds, and 34 retention reservoirs and dry polders in the city. The largest pond is Velký Počernický with 41.76 ha. The largest body of water is Hostivař Reservoir with 42 hectares.
In terms of geomorphological division, most of Prague is located in the Prague Plateau. In the south the city's territory extends into the Hořovice Uplands, in the north it extends into the Central Elbe Table lowland. The highest point is the top of the hill Teleček on the western border of Prague, at 399 m above sea level. Notable hills in the centre of Prague are Petřín with 327 m and Vítkov with 270 m. The lowest point is the Vltava in Suchdol at the place where it leaves the city, at 172 m. Prague is the capital and largest city in the Czech Republic, and the historical capital of Bohemia. On the Vltava river, Prague is home to about 1.3 million people. Hrad Žebrák - Czech Republic
hrad Žebrák
Zřejmě nejstarší šlechtický hrad se dvěma okrouhlými věžemi. Po Václavské přestavbě se z něj stala jedna z nejnádhernějších rezidencí v zemi. Dnes je Žebrák starším spodním hradem největšího českého souhradí.
Hrad Žebrák založen ve 2. polovině 13. století pány Zajíci z nedalekého brdského hradu Valdeka. Žebrák byl strážním hradem na křižovatce cest ke Křivoklátu a Zbirovu. Vznikla zde postupně kolem silnice procházející hradní skalou mýtní stanice.
Nedlouho po zakoupení hradu českým králem Janem Lucemburským žil sedm let na hradě ve skrytu mladší bratr Karla IV. Jan Jindřich. Byl neprávem zapuzen svojí manželkou Markétou Tyrolskou. Karel IV. na hrad zanevřel, neboť na něm v roce 1351 zemřel jeho prvorozený syn Václav. Slávu hradu obnovil Václav IV. a celý jej přestavěl. Po požáru v roce 1526 královská komora na opravu hradu rezignovala a předala jej zástavním držitelům. Jejich snaha nalézt ukrytý poklad vedla ke zborcení zdí starého paláce a hrad se stal zříceninou. Život se přesunul do podhradí k pivovaru. Do povodně v roce 1872 byl hrad obklopen rybníky a do roku 1926 na něm žila místní rodina Kundrátova. Dnes hradní věž slouží jako rozhledna.
