Los Angeles, also known as the ‘city of Golden Angels’, is a massive and vibrant city in the United States that has something for everyone. In this video, we’ll show you some of the best tourist places to visit in Los Angeles, from gorgeous beaches and fun theme parks to great museums and shopping malls.
First up is Venice Beach, one of the must-visit places in Los Angeles. With its gorgeous sandy beaches and blue waters, this lively beach is a popular spot for skateboarders, rollerbladers, joggers, and street performers.
Next on our list is Universal Studios, one of the best tourist places in Los Angeles. It's not just a working studio, but also has amazing rides based on movie themes. You can take a tour of the place and observe several popular movie sets. The most popular rides are The Simpsons, Harry Potter, Transformers, and the Walking Dead.
The Getty Center is a huge museum located on a hilltop in the mountains of Santa Monica, and it's one of the best tourist attractions in Los Angeles. The gardens itself have beautiful sculptures that pave the way into the complex. They have a great collection that consists of European drawings, paintings, sculptures, decorations and photography from the later centuries.
Santa Monica Beach is another popular tourist place in Los Angeles. You can walk along the beautiful sandy shore that is often filled with surfers, yoga devotees, skateboarders and the techies. When you finally reach the pier, you will find the famous Ferris wheel. Most people visit to take a ride on this Ferris wheel.
The Museum of Jurassic Technology is a unique museum that has nothing to do with dinosaurs but has a lot of other unusual sights. Some of these include incredibly tiny sculptures and a bat that can fly through walls. This institute combines both fact and fiction and does a great job at that. It's one of the popular tourist attractions in Los Angeles.
The Griffith Observatory is located in the Griffith Parks which is also where the Los Angeles Zoo is located. It's really a planetarium where you can look through a Zeiss telescope and observe the moon and the stars. This is one of the must-visit places in Los Angeles California.
The Hollywood Walk of Fame is one of the most popular tourist places in Los Angeles. You can take a stroll along this area and observe the pink terrazzo with famous artists' names in gold. If you are a celebrity fanatic, then there is a Chinese Theater with famous hand and footprints to be visited.
Disneyland Park is the perfect family destination and is one of the best tourist places to visit in Los Angeles. It almost makes you feel like you’re in Disneyland with all the rides and the various activities that are set in perfect coordination with the Disneyland themes. It has 7 different lands based on different scenes. The park itself has 4 theme parks and 2 water parks. Welcome to Midway Utah, One Of The Cutest Towns In Utah! Very Close To Heber City Utah
Midway is a city in northwestern Wasatch County, Utah, United States. It is located in the Heber Valley, approximately 3 miles west of Heber City and 28 miles southeast of Salt Lake City, on the opposite side of the Wasatch Mountains. The population is about 5000.
There is only one place in the country where you can ski the slopes and scuba on the same day. There is only one place in the country where world class Nordic skiing athletes come to train at the premier Soldier Hollow Resort. There is only one place in the country that holds the largest championship sheep dog competition, and there is only in place in Utah where polka music, crafts, and lederhosen all come together.
That place is Midway, Utah.
Tucked back in the corner of the Wasatch Mountains in Heber Valley, Midway is home to Utah’s Swiss Alps, dubbed so by the original Swiss settlers who were reminded of the green grassy valleys and the snowcapped rocky slopes of their home country. And they would know what an Alp is.

With Heber City, Utah as the destination, The Retirement Travelers leave Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks and enjoy retirement travel through Idaho and northern Utah. Their Utah travel vlog actually makes stops in Twin Falls, Idaho and see Shoshone Falls in Snake River Canyon. They do some hiking at Craters of the Moon National Monument and then get their truck washed by the Bear River High School Girls Tennis team in Tremonton, Utah. Upon arriving in Heber City, their friends at Red Ledges take them golfing at Wasatch Mountain Golf Course and then two world class hikes on Mount Timpanogos in the Wasatch range and the Crystal Lake in the Uinta Mountains. It goes to show you how many beautiful places exist as you travel between the National Parks. It was a truly special visit and Heber City should be on your list for great destinations.

They have a van set up for surf adventure trips. We went out kayaking at Deer Creek State Park in Heber City, Utah.
