The restored,centuries- old Hatta heritage village features a defensive tower,stone houses with palm-frond roofs, and falaj, the traditional water system. At the nearby Hatta Dam, the Hatta Reservoir visitor point overlook the pools of striking green water.It’s 136KM from Dubai which means 1 hours 37 minutes. We explored Hatta, an exclave of Dubai that sits on the border of Oman. Hatta, less than a two hour drive from Dubai has a more laid back pace of life than the UAE's big cities and is the perfect weekend escape and close enough for a mini road trip. This spot is well known for hiking, biking, kayaking and adventure. In the road trip spirit we then decided to head to this unique spot called Last Exit for some much needed delicious trailer park food.
