One week holiday, visit from my parents - little trip in Alsace. Nice old cities, Colmar with nicer houses than Strasbourg (even if Strasbourg is Europe center, lol). We enjoyed hot weather, hope you'll enjoy the pictures.

We drove to our destinations, Dunkirk in France and Ypres in Belgium via the Eurotunnel. Dunkirk is known for its evacuation in the 1940. The Dunkirk 1940 Museum is the place telling the history about the Battle of Dunkirk and the Operation Dynamo during the World War II. Dunkirk town centre is also worth a visit for its beautiful Town Hall, Cathedral, Bell Tower and the floating heritages. After Dunkirk we drove to Ypres in Belgium, the place where fierce batte was fought in the World War I. We visited the Hill 60 and the Tyne Cot cemetery that both witness the massive damage and huge human loss brought by the war. It makes one feel sad and humble after these visits. We spent the night in a hotel in Halluin, France near the Belgium border, but we needed to travell to Lille for dinner because most restaurants were closed. Hope you enjoy the video about the mentioned places.

When Nicola Sirkis and his band do something, they do it right!
For the closing show of Indochine’s “13 Tour”, over 50 000 fans came to Lille to experience the immersive show of the mythical band.
PRG was chosen as the technical partner for this production, providing light, video, rigging and live caption of the concert.
A 750m² LED screen, the eye catcher on stage
Thomas Bellenger, Artistic Director is especially delighted about the exceptionally large LED screen: “the main challenge is finding that perfect balance with the lighting, the great interaction that we have achieved here really enriches the visual aspect of the show”.
The extraordinary dimensions of the screen were used to their fullest advantage with meticulously designed content for which the 6mm pitch of the LED ensured crystal clear and sharp images and a high quality caption.
1400 fixtures light up the sky
The numbers can only give an indication of the vast array of infrastructure creating an overwhelming result: 758 GLP X4, 34 GLP X4S, 157 Mythos, 143 Sharpy Wash 330, 50 Flare, 5 Bad Boy and 20 Scenius Unico fixtures.
Synchronization being key, the 758 lighting fixtures on stage and another 750 in the rest of the venue were perfectly aligned. Jean-Christophe Aubrée, the lighting designer praises the GLP-range “They are small and easy to install. For this amount of lighting fixtures, they allowed for the lightest possible structure and guaranteed a simultaneous effect over the whole ceiling and a immediate reaction, without offsets”
PRG, #OneTeam
With a very challenging, limited load-in time and over 40 tons of materials to be hung from the ceiling, this project has been exemplary of what PRG France is capable of delivering. No less than 100 experts worked together on the peak moments of the installation.
Materials were brought to Lille from different PRG warehouses across Europe and specialists from the different neighbouring markets joined the local knowhow of PRG France to build one ‘dream team’ for this production, that completed the set-up in only 36 hours, explains Antoine d’Halluin, Project Manager of PRG France.
And it is this human aspect that is especially appreciated by our clients and partners. As Stéphane Desch, Production Director puts it: “It was easy to work with PRG for their executional power, both in materials and human assets. The team works very effectively and is perfectly prepared, all is thought through and nothing is left unconsidered”.
