Bruneau Dunes State Park is a state park of Idaho, USA, featuring several large sand dunes and a small lake. The park is located south of Mountain Home, Idaho, outside of Bruneau. The park is the site of North America's highest single-structured sand dune which is approximately 470 feet (140 m) high. The park is also the site of the Bruneau Dunes Observatory, where visitors can use atelescope for stargazing.

Sun Valley is a resort city in the western United States, in Blaine County in central Idaho, adjacent to the city of Ketchum and within the greater Wood River valley. Wind River Mtns Backpack: Hiking Out (Hailey Pass, CDT & Fremont Trails) August 30-31, 2021
We finished our Wind River Mountains backpack in Wyoming by hiked out in two rather than the three days coming in, easier of course going mainly downward. Also we were all tired after several days at around 10,000 feet and above (and remember our ages ranged from 68 to 78, so certainly a “senior” group) and the fire smoke returned, dimming the great scenery of the Winds a bit. The highlights were probably spending a night at Dads Lake at 9,741 feet, where several of us had camped before. It is certainly the most beautiful of the lakes we camped by with lots of islands, incredibly blue water, and of course the mountains, forest and meadows all around. And at Dads we also had a beautiful sunset, enhanced by the fire smoke, and an even better sunrise (which unfortunately only Joan was up to see). A negative was two irresponsible dog owners who left their German Shepherds off leash, and they charged Joan along the trail, but thankfully did not hurt her. For photos of the backpack see
