According to British colonial records, the first permanent European settlement at Morristown occurred in 1715, when a settlement was founded as New Hanover by migrants from New York and Connecticut. Morris County was created on March 15, 1739, from portions of Hunterdon County. The county, and ultimately Morristown itself, was named for the popular Governor of the Province, Lewis Morris, who championed benefits for the colonists.

We did our second-longest Road Trip in the USA, from New Jersey to Dallas, Texas, in 2 days. We drove approximately 1600 miles in 2 days, and this experience has left us with memories that will last forever. Whether you are an experienced traveller or a first-time road-tripper, this journey will certainly take you to another level of curiosity.

If you are on the highway, there are a lot of food outlets available, like Wendy's, where you will be watching us try the different flavours of Coke that are served only at Wendy’s. Also, this video showcases the fun of taking a US Road Trip, during which you will experience the beauty of local rivers, terrains, cultures, and histories as you pass through the states and diversity in taste.

This American Roadtrip vlog will walk you through the route, what you'll need, and where you can stop if necessary. If you are travelling for the first time and planning to drive this far, then you will be driving from the hills to the southern and central parts of America. You will be switching from the eastern to the central time zones, so make your hotel reservations accordingly. You will enjoy the route, and if you have more time, we recommend exploring natural wonders and lush forests along the way to Texas.

We created a few unforgettable memories, and we are sure you too will agree with us. Do watch the video till the end, as there is a lot that you will get to know along the journey.

NJ Transit Hackettstown Station Walkthrough

Hackettstown is a New Jersey Transit station in Hackettstown, New Jersey. The station is located at the intersection of Valentine Street and Beatty Street and is the western terminus of the Morristown Line and the Montclair-Boonton Line, which both provide service to Hoboken Terminal or to Pennsylvania Station in Midtown Manhattan via Midtown Direct. Hackettstown station is the only active New Jersey Transit station in Warren County. The line from Hackettstown – Dover is diesel powered, requiring a transfer at Dover, Montclair State University or Newark Broad Street to an electrified train to New York Penn Station. Proposals exist of an extension of the Montclair-Boonton Line, including an extension to Washington and possibly Phillipsburg further along the Washington Secondary.
