After surprising my Mum with her dream trip to Cuba we flew over to the capital Havana to spend a few days there before our tour in Western Cuba began.
All major sights in Old Havanna are in walking distance such as El Capitolio , the Museum of the Revolution, Plaza Vieja or the Great Theatre to name just a few. Take a day to roam the narrow streets of the old town and make sure to have a drink at the roof of the Hotel Ambos Mundos!

Alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten in Havanna liegen in fußläufiger Nähe zueinander, wie. z.B. das Kapitol, das Revolutionsmuseum, die Plaza Vieja oder das Große Theater um nur einige zu nennen. Nimm dir einen Tag Zeit um durch die engen Gassen der Altstadt zu schlendern und schau unbedingt auf der Dachterasse des Hotel Ambos Mundos für einen Drink vorbei!

I definitely suggest this trip if you have the time. Playas del Este is a stretch of pleasant, white-sand beaches just east of Havana. When the sun is shining, this is a convenient place to hit the beach and swim in the ocean.
