Petra - Walking the Siq to the Treasury - 4K with Captions - March 2022
This walking tour of Petra was filmed on Monday March 28th, 2022 starting at 8:40 AM near the entrance of the Siq. The Siq is a natural 1.2 km long sandstone gorge that gently winds toward the ancient city of Petra until it opens on to the magnificent Treasury. The Treasury has been used in several moves including Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. It the movie it served as the final location of the Holy Grail. Along both sides of the Siq are ancient water channels that once held clay pipes that brought fresh water from the Moses Spring into the city of Petra. You always get back much more than you can ever give when volunteering. We visited an orphanage in Addis Ababa Ethiopia; while there and donated money, bought books, and painted a computer lab. The kids here were amazing!
