Nanchong, also known as Fruit City, Silk City, is a prefecture-level city in Sichuan Province. One of the central cities in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, an important node city in the “Belt and Road” strategy, an important node city in the northeastern Sichuan urban agglomeration, an excellent tourist city in China, a national garden city, a national clean energy demonstration city, a central city in a dense urban area in Nansuiguang, One of the top 200 charming cities with Chinese characteristics. Nanchong is located in the northeast of Sichuan Province and the middle reaches of the Jialing River. It is named after being in the south of Chongguo. It has jurisdiction over 3 districts (Shunqing District, Gaoping District, Jialing District) and 5 counties (Yingshan County, Xichong County, Nanbu County) , Peng'an County, Yilong County), 1 county-level city (Langzhong City); covers an area of 12,500 square kilometers. According to the seventh census data, as of 0:00 on November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Nanchong City is 5,607,565.
Nanchong has a long history, originated from Anhan established by Emperor Han Gaozu in 202 BC, and has been built for more than 2220 years. Since the Spring and Autumn Period, it has been the governing place of the capital, state, county, government, and Tao; in the early liberation period, it was the resident of the northern Sichuan administrative district. Nanchong is the birthplace of the culture of the Three Kingdoms and the Spring Festival. The folk customs are simple and elegant, and the culture of the Three Kingdoms, the silk culture, the red culture and the Jialing River culture blend and shine.
Nanchong is an important national production base for commercial grains and agricultural and sideline products, Sichuan's oil and gas, energy and chemical bases, a regional science, education and cultural center in northeastern Sichuan, an important transportation hub city in the western region, and an economic, logistics, commerce and financial center in northeastern Sichuan. Known as the Hometown of Fruits and The Capital of Silk. On October 23, 2019, it was identified as the third batch of urban black and odorous water treatment demonstration cities. In 2020, the Sichuan Provincial People's Government agreed to establish Nanchong Linjiang New District.
In 2020, the GDP of Nanchong will be 240.108 billion yuan, an increase of 3.8% over 2019.

Longchang, Neijiang, Sichuan, China
Longchang City, under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province, Neijiang City, county-level city, is located in southeastern Sichuan Province, the southern tip of Neijiang City. It covers an area of 794.41 square kilometers; it has 11 towns and 2 streets. According to the seventh census data, the resident population of Longchang was 568,900 as of November 1, 2020.
Longchang spans between 105°02´ and 105°26´ East longitude and 29°11´ and 29°32´ North latitude. It is adjacent to Rongchang District of Chongqing to the east, Luzhou City Luxian to the south, Fushun County of Zigong City and Duan District of Zigong City to the west, and Dongxing District to the north; 210 km from Chengdu City and 138 km from Chongqing City. It is a subtropical humid monsoon climate, with an average annual temperature of 17.7℃, a frost-free period of 324 days, an annual rainfall of 1000 mm, a forest coverage rate of 27.2%, and an urban air quality of 305 days that meets the national standard. The territory is fertile and rich in products, and is a national base for commercial grains, pigs, fruits and special aquatic products.
Longchang has a long history, and the history of setting up a county in the territory can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty, which is more than 1300 years ago. In the first year of Longqing of Ming Dynasty (1567 AD), the county was set up by cutting 2 miles of Luxian, 4 miles of Rongchang and 14 miles of Fushun, and was named Longchang County with Longqiao Post as the county government, which means prosperous and flourishing; it is also known as the hometown of stone pagodas in China and the city of stone culture in China. It is also the hometown of Huang Fusheng, the pioneer of the Xinhai Revolution; it has such attractions as the ancient pagodas of Longchang, Guyu Lake, and the ancient fortress of Yunding, etc. On September 22, 2020, it won the 2019 Sichuan Provincial Grain Production Harvest Cup. Thrilling Hike in the Mountains of Sichuan // This is China
Jianmen Pass makes for an incredible weekend trip from Chengdu, especially for thrill seekers. It's possible to hike along a mountain cliff edge, harnessed to a wire or chain, with foot-paths as narrow as a couple feet. It's not for the feint of heart, but the views are some of the best in the province. This part of the hike cost 65 RMB, which includes the equipment (harness and helmet), some instructions, and they even took our blood pressure before deeming us worthy.
Jianmenguan is also the home to a giant military gate that has been called the world's most impregnable pass. It was originally built around the 4th century BC, during the Warring State Period. Thirty thousand soldiers from Shu (now Sichuan) were able to hold off 100,000 invaders from Shaanxi because of the strategic position of the gate. The gate that stands there now was built in 2009, but it's still an incredible sight, and it shows you how strategically placed it was.
The pass is also apart of the Shu Roads, a series of ancient roads that connected Chinese provinces.

Jianmen Pass Scenic Area is 100 RMB.
Additional costs include cable cars (50 RMB per trip), the slide way - a giant slide that goes part-way down the mountain (30 RMB), the cliff-side hike (65 RMB), a 4D Cinema (50 RMB), and various buses around the park (10-15 RMB).

HOW TO GET TO JIANMEN PASS:
China changes so fast that it's hard to give accurate information. At the time of posting this, there is only a slow train to Guangyuan, however in about a week they'll be opening the high speed train from Chengdu to Xi'an, which will stop at Jianmenguan. When that opens (around the end of 2017), it will be possible to get to the park in an hour or 2. But until then, the bus is the best way to get there.
From Chengdu's Zhaojuesi Bus Station (昭觉寺汽车客运站 - 166 Zhaoqing Cross Rd) take a bus to Guangyuan (buses run from 7:40 AM to 6 PM and take about 3.5-4 hours). Stay overnight in Guangyuan and then in the morning go to Guangyuan Nanhe Bus Station to catch one of the buses directly to Jianmen Pass Scenic Area (7:40 AM or 8:40 AM), or take a taxi there.

Bazhong, a prefecture-level city in Sichuan Province, is located in the northeastern part of the Sichuan Basin, at the southern foot of the Micang Mountains in the Daba Mountain System, south of the north-south boundary of the Qinling-Huai River in China, adjacent to Dazhou in the east, Nanchong in the south, Guangyuan in the west, and Hanzhong in Shaanxi Province in the north, and is a typical mountainous area around the basin, with a high topography in the north and a low topography in the south, sloping from north to south; it has a subtropical humid monsoon climate with four distinct seasons; the regional area is 12,300 square kilometers , with 2 districts and 3 counties under its jurisdiction. According to the seventh census data, as of November 1, 2020, the resident population of Bazhong City is 2712,894.
Bazhong has revolutionary relics such as the Red Army Martyrs' Cemetery and the Red Army Stone Slogans Group, which is called the open-air museum of the Chinese Revolution. It also has the Guangwu Mountain-Noshui River World Geological Park, one national 5A-level tourist attraction, 21 national 4A-level tourist attractions, and four national forest parks. Bazhong is the second largest Soviet region in China, with a large number of red sites and relics. The city has 382 immovable revolutionary cultural relics, including 2 national key cultural relics protection units with 66 points, 20 provincial revolutionary cultural relics protection units, 11 municipal revolutionary cultural relics protection units and 110 county revolutionary cultural relics protection units, mainly located in Bazhou District and Tongjiang County. In 2018, Bazhong City was shortlisted as a nominated city for the 2018-2020 creation cycle of the National Civilized City; 2018 National Social Governance Innovation Demonstration City.

Formerly known as Canton, today’s Guangzhou is one of China's most impressive urban centers, with a population of over 18 million. But there’s an ancient and historical side to this city too. Founded on the eastern bank of the Pearl River in 215 BC, Guangzhou had been a historic center of learning and a cradle of political activity (e.g., the Chinese Revolution of 1911–12). To this day, numerous notable Republic-era buildings remain standing, and some Guangzhou neighborhoods still retain the narrow alleys and old-world charms.

Due to its subtropical climate, Guangzhou is blessed with flowers all year round. This earned it the nickname of City of Flowers. The striking blooms are celebrated annually during the famous Spring Festival Flower Fair, when every street and alleyway is awash with vibrant colors. Other places of scenic natural settings include cherry blossom viewing in Huang Keng Cun Village in Huadu District, be surrounded by nature in Huangshan Forest Park, or admire the Million Sunflower Garden in Nansha District.
Traveling to and around Guangzhou couldn’t be easier. If you are flying to Guanzhou, Baiyun International Airport serves the city and the region. There are multiple transfer options between the airport and city center, such as the metro (Metro Line 3’s Airport South Metro station is located at the lower level of the airport terminal), airport express and shuttle bus (over a dozen routes to key locations in Guangzhou), and by taxi.
