La Chouette, Gite near Gaillac Tarn
Looking for a gite in the Tarn region? Welcome to La Chouette, near Gaillac. Perched on a hilltop, with fabulous views across rolling Tarn countryside, this self-catering gite offers comfortable living for up to six people. The house has been lovingly restored and retains many original features. Located 14 km south of Gaillac, the gite is an ideal base from which to explore the many treasures of the Tarn area, one of the most picturesque corners of France. Vineyards, fortified towns, abbeys, cathedrals, cities steeped in history... all are within easy reach. The nearest town is Graulhet, once the leather-making capital of France. Also nearby are the towns of Lisle sur Tarn, and Lavaur. Further afield, but within easy travelling distance, you'll find Castres, Toulouse and Albi. The gite has a large garden and private grounds, plenty of room to relax in sun or shade, and a child-friendly pool. Tranquility is guaranteed. On those days when you're looking for more than chilling out or sightseeing, you'll find no shortage of fun activities and attractions on hand. Walking, fishing, boating, canoeing, aerial walkways, steam train, model railway... And you'll have no better place to come home to at the end of the day. Uncork a bottle of the one of the many fine wines for which Gaillac is renowned, sit back and enjoy the view, the peace, the glorious sunsets and all that you were hoping your gite holiday would be.

In this video we flew from Lviv (Ukraine) to Le Touquet (France).
In France my colleagues - pilots are supposed to get FAA § 61.75 Private pilot certificate issued on the basis of a foreign pilot license. For this they need an interview with a famous Captain, John Hughston.
A hydraulic fluid lick was found at the preflight inspection, therefore we moved out flight to a restaurant ????
The cause was worn break pads, which were replaced while we were enjoying the restaurant.
Next day we flew Lviv - Le Touquet via Katowice (with a very good handling, which includes a kitchen, cost us just 100€), then Siegerland (Germany), all in one day, spending 8.5 hours in the air.
After a successful interview, my guys got their FAA 61.75 licenses in hands ????.
Next day (because the airport LFAT was closed due to gusting crosswinds up to 30 KT) we went back to Ukraine, but I dropped off at Frankfurt am Main to start my duty with Fleetair Airline with the SAAB 340.

The beautiful french village of Lautrec - home of the family of the artist Toulouse Lautrec ????????
Travelling north from Carcassonne we turned of the main road to follow a sign to another beautiful French village. This gorgeous town was home to the family of Henri Toulouse Lautrec (although he was born in nearby Albi). It is also famed for its pink garlic. The town has gates and walls dating from the 1100`s and a centre that is full of wonderful timber framed medieval buildings. On a hill overlooking its heart is a windmill that is almost 400 years old and is still working. This was a brilliantly worthwhile detour.

LANDING IN HOHENEMS || SOCATA TB20
Landing in Hohenems in summer 2021 with a Socata TB20.
Hohenems is a small uncontrolled airfield in Vorarlberg, Austria. Due to noise abatement procedures, we also had to fly a very short final approach. All together this is a very challenging but beautiful approach in the TB20 at the edge of the alps.

TRAVEL THROUGH DEMOCRACY - YIA SEMINAR 4.3 - DIAPORAMA
Travel through democracy, part of the European Youth in Action program 4.3, is a project of seminar. It has been designed by Leo Lagrange Tarn Federation, and organized in partnership with PRISM (Italy), SYNERGIE (Romania), EN GNOSI (Greece), FONORSOD (Turkey) and PROVENCIA DYNAMICA (Spain). This project tooks place in Graulhet (department of Tarn), France, for 5 days from the 4th to the 8th February 2013. It gathered 24 participants together who are in touch with a young audience, through their work or their voluntary actions.
The main goal of this seminar was to share tools which allow us to tackle the exercise of democracy with our respective audience. This seminar was also a reason to build a partnership network so as to plan projects like PEJA 1.3 Youth for democracy. The meeting of these European partners contributed to create an exchange area about the exercise of European democracy. This conception was part of citizenship representation and its methods of implementing in each present country.
With artistic and playful activities, which join the non-formal education values (audiovisual, theatre, games and debates, role-play...) all the participants exchanged, thought and shaped their own idea on the exercise of citizenship within Europe, got a knowledge. Thanks to the group, they compared their tools and their methods in order to tackle the theme of democracy with young people.
