Scenic drive from Sieci to Siena with a picnic in Chianti in the middle.We left Sieci with no particular place in mind and meandered through the hills and backroads of Tuscany and Chianti until we found an ideal place for a picnic. The road trip takes us through quaint little villages like Sieci, Compiobbi, San Jacopo al Girone, Rovezzano, Gavinana, Ponte A Ema, Grassina, San Martino, La Pressura, Solaia, Strada in Chianti, Chiocchio, Spedaluzzo, Giobbole, Le Bolle, Passo Dei Peccorai, La Quattro Strade, Fornacelle, Mercatale in Val di Pesa, Paolini, Calcinaia, San Casciano, San Donato in Poggio, Madonna di Pietracupa, Monteriggioni, and the lush Tuscan farmlands and vineyards in between.
