Loggers Run - Six Flags Great America
Loggers Run is a log flume designed by the defunct Arrow Dynamics and is located at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, IL. This ride opened with the park in 1976 and still operates as of 2019. Logger's run features a 60ft double down drop that is sure to get rider's soaked because of the water jets at the bottom of the drop. This is an excellent example of a chute the chutes ride.

AMERICAN GOTHIC HOUSE | Grand Wood in Eldon Iowa | James T Kirk Birthplace Riverside
This is part two of our journey through the Midwest, and we started off this vlog with a visit to Eldon, Iowa. Eldon is the home of the American Gothic house, where you can view the actual house where artist Grant Wood used for his American Gothic painting. The American Gothic House Tour only includes a visit to the visitor's center, and the highly seek picture opportunity.
We dressed up for the occasion, too! Unfortunately since it is a private residence, nobody is allowed to be inside the American Gothic House.
We finally reached Ames, Iowa for Halef's fraternity National Convention, where he was invited to become one of the speakers at the Grand Banquet. Ames, Iowa is the home of Iowa State University.

Holiday in the Park Lights 2020 Walkthrough - Six Flags Great America opening night 11/27/20
My family went to visit the first night of #HolidayInThePark Lights at #SixFlagsGreatAmerica in Gurnee, Illinois. This year capacity is limited because of COVID-19, with masks required throughout the park. Here's a little of sample of what things look like this year!

You can arrive at 1pm to use the water park. They have surrounding restaurants nearby. They do have their own restaurant as well. The water park can be used the the full day the next day. Download the app to check out the Itinerary of activities taking place that day as well as the hours of operation. Pool Hours 10:00am to 8:00pm

Six Flags Great America's Next Ride Removal? American Eagle? V2?
Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois is one of the top theme parks in the chain. With new several new additions in the last few years like Maxx Force, Goliath and Joker, this theme park looks to be on the up. There is also rumors that a new flat ride or roller coaster could be coming in 2021. And, a new ride might mean the closure and removal of another. In this video we will see if rides such as Vertical Velocity and American Eagle are safe or will they be seeing their demise in the near future. Find out more in this video!
