Strolling around through the winding streets and pretty alley's in authentic Oatmöske (Low Saxon) ????
The interesting mix of historic Hollandic and old Saxon architecture makes for a unique town in the Netherlands. If you like art, I don't think there is town with more art galleries per square meter.
Ootmarsum is located North-eastern Twente which has been designated as a national landscape, due to its rolling landscape, which is incredibly varied thanks to an intricate combination of streams, ashes, enclosed fields and cultivated marshland.

Wierden in 4K
Wierden is een gemeente en dorp in de regio Twente in de Nederlandse provincie Overijssel. Het ligt tussen Almelo en Nijverdal.
De gemeente Wierden omvat 9.435 hectare grond en bestaat naast de dorpen Wierden en Enter uit de buurtschappen Hoge Hexel , Notter, Zuna, Rectum en IJpelo.
Wierden is van oorsprong een agrarisch dorp. Maar er hebben zich in dit rustige dorp veel forenzen gevestigd. Deze werken in o.a. Almelo, Hengelo, Enter en Vriezenveen. Het dorp heeft ern groot aanbod van fraaie woonbuurten met voldoende voorzieningen.
Het Lageveld ligt even buiten Wierden en is een mooi sport en recreatiegebied voor jong en oud.

Zaanse Schans is a neighbourhood of Zaandam, near Zaandijk in the municipality of Zaanstad in the Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. It has a collection of well-preserved historic windmills and houses; the ca. 35 houses from all over the Zaanstreek were moved to the museum area in the 1970s.The Zaans Museum, established in 1994, is located in the Zaanse Schans.
The Zaanse Schans is one of the popular tourist attractions of the region and an anchor point of ERIH, the European Route of Industrial Heritage. The neighbourhood attracts approximately 900,000 visitors every year.
