A walk in Glenbrook National Park to Nepean River - Glenbrook NSW Glenbrook

This was a walk from Euroka Campgrounds in Glenbrook National Park. Most of the walk is fairly easy until you get to the end part of the walk where you walk down to the River.

There is many more hiking tracks, bike tracks and other places to explore within Glenbrook National Park which I did not explore today, and more beautiful areas within the park.

Exploring Elizabeth Lookout & Marges Lookout - Knapsack Reserve Walks - Glenbrook - NSW - Australia

Exploring Elizabeth Lookout & Marges Lookout - Knapsack Reserve Walks - Glenbrook - NSW - Australia which is located in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney. It is a popular area for locals to walk and go for a run or ride their bikes.

This area has some easy walks for kids and families and also areas for mountain bikes to go and some other interesting places to explore for those up for more difficult hiking tracks. It’s scattered with multiple walking tracks and its like a maze but its a great area.

Great for taking the dogs for a walk to.

Solo Hike Glenbrook Gorge Track, Blue Mountains - Lumix S5

In this video I visit Ngurra (Country) of the Dharug and Gundungurra peoples for a solo hike of Glenbrook Gorge in Glenbrook National Park in the lower Blue Mountains of New South Wales, Australia.

The track is an easy walk down to the river and then a mixture of rock scrambling over uneven surfaces along the gorge.

It is a gorgeous place but probably suitable more for those on the fitter side, especially on hot days. Plenty of trip and fall hazards which makes me hesitant to recommend it for kids. You will want to bring a lot of water as it is fairly exposed along the water side.

So come along on this bushwalk with me and see what this lovely area has to offer.

HIDDEN OASIS!!!! Waterfront Camping Spot!! - Western Australia -

This spot is amazing, you will find it on Wikicamps under Knobby Head South, about 300kms from Perth.
Going off Wikicamps, it looks like they used to charge a fee somehow, however there was no donation box, nor did rangers come around.
We had the beach all to ourselves and it was amazing to chill here for a few days and do nothing but fish and relax. A great spot to stay if you are travelling north from Perth.

The great outdoors by motorbike around Blue Mountains National Park, Glenbrook,

Blue Mountains National Park is 1 of 8 national parks and reserves that make up the Greater Blue Mountains Area World Heritage Property. In 2000, UNESCO recognised the area's outstanding geology, biodiversity, and Aboriginal significance. The park lies within the Country of the Darug, Gundungurra, Wiradjuri, Darkinjung, Wanaruah and Dharawal People. With 1 million hectares of rugged plateaux, sheer cliffs and deep gorges, it protects unique ecosystems teeming with rare plants and animals. Over 95 species of eucalypt trees have evolved here over millions of years, making it the most diverse eucalypt forest in the world. Greater Blue Mountains driving route is a great way to see this ancient wilderness right on Sydney doorstep. Glenbrook is the eastern gateway to this ancient wilderness right on Sydney doorstep.

You don’t have to go far from the carpark to find a walk, riding trail, scenic lookout or picnic spot. Most of the roads are suitable for 2WD vehicles, so enjoy the drive as you make your way to Nepean lookout or the wheelchair-accessible Portal lookout. Glenbrook's well-maintained trails are favourites with mountain bikers and trail runners, who make a beeline for the Woodford-Oaks trail, Bennetts Ridge, and Murphys trail. If you prefer to relax, Euroka and Murphys Glen campgrounds provide low-key camping facilities without having to wander too far from Sydney.

Solo Hike Portal Waterhole Loop - Glenbrook NP - Blue Mountains

In this video I visit Ngurra (Country) of the Dharug and Gundungurra peoples for a solo hike of the Portal Waterhole Loop in Glenbrook National Park in the lower Blue Mountains of New South Wales, Australia.

The track is a flat short loop walk that takes you through a eucalypt forest and by the Portal Waterhole (unfortunately a bit dry atm). The scrub makes it ideal for birds so keep and eye out.

So come along on this bushwalk with me and see what this lovely area has to offer.

Driving to Blue Mountains, p1 - M4 Western Motorway Penrith to Glenbrook, Sydney NSW Australia 2020

#sydneydriving #drivingtour #sydney #australia #walking #driving #sydneywalking #sydneytravel

The #M4Motorway is a 50.2-kilometre-long (31.2 mi) dual carriageway partially tolled motorway in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia that is designated with the #M4 route. The M4 designation is part of the wider A4 and M4 route designation, the M4 runs parallel/below ground to the #GreatWesternHighway and #ParramattaRoad (A44).

The M4 route number comprises two connected parts:

The original section completed between 1971 and 1993 is titled #M4WesternMotorway, formerly known as #F4WesternFreeway. It spans between #Concord in the east, to #Glenbrook in the west, where it continues as the Great Western Highway as the A32. The section between #ChurchStreet in #Parramatta to #Concord was widened as the first stage of #WestConnex, and is tolled as part of WestConnex.

An eastern 5.5-kilometre (3 mi) tunnel extension of the M4 from #Homebush to #Haberfield, known as the #M4East or New M4 Tunnels, was completed as the second stage of WestConnex and opened to traffic on 13 July 2019. This section is also tolled as part of WestConnex.

Approximately 36 kilometres (22 mi) of the motorway-grade road is not tolled, being that section of the road between #Merrylands and #Glenbrook. The WestConnex section between Parramatta and Haberfield, known as New M4, is tolled as part of WestConnex.

Glenbrook is a township of the #LowerBlueMountains of #NewSouthWales, Australia. It is located 70 kilometres west of Sydney in the local government area of the City of Blue Mountains. At the 2016 Australian census Glenbrook had a population of 5,051 people.

Glenbrook lies between #Lapstone and #Blaxland at an elevation of 163 m (535 ft) and is approximately a 50-minute drive from Sydney. It plays host to trendy cafes and boutiques, while offering various tourist attractions, including weekend markets, recreational opportunities and native flora and fauna.

The town takes its name from Glenbrook Creek, which is on the southern side of the village and must be crossed to enter the #BlueMountainsNationalPark. Glenbrook retains many historical homes and buildings throughout the village, although most homes are occupied and not open to the public.
