???? In this 4K video, drive in SAINT CLAUDE downtown.
???????? I The town was originally named Saint-Oyand after Saint Eugendus. However, when St. Claudius had, in 690, resigned his Diocese of Besançon and had died, in 696, as twelfth abbot, the number of pilgrims who visited his grave was so great that, since the 13th century, the name Saint-Claude came more and more into use and has today superseded the other.[3] Was the world capital of wooden smoking pipes crafted by hand from the mid 19th century all the way to the mid 20th century. During WWII the town came under German occupation, yet still remained a haven for Jews escaping to Switzerland due to its close proximity to it (5 miles away from town). As a punishment for the locales consistently assisting and harboring the fleeing Jews, the Nazis executed all the towns males of service age in the town center. There is a memorial plaque in the city square commemorating the event. Today there are several farms and ranches surrounding the town that produce many world famous brands of dairy (Comte cheese), beef (Charolaise), and poultry (Bresse Gauloise).

WINTER SPORTS IN THE JURA MOUNTAINS - Snowboarding at PAYS DE GEX MONTS JURA
We’ve made it to the mountains! We love the mountains and we really wanted to take our van down to the mountains to do some winter sports including our favourite snowboarding!
Our first stop in France on our Journey to the Alps are the smaller Jura mountains. We have never been before but we have heard how beautiful the region is and it’s safe to say that it didn’t disappoint.
We were able to snowboard, snowshoe and ride a luge as well as doing some beautiful hikes!

Hello everyone ???? If you are planning to go to a vacation and you want a peace of mind. I suggest you to visit Divonne Le’s Bain France. It is a spa town situated on the border with French-speaking Switzerland, between the foot of the Jura Mountains and Lake Geneva. It is situated in the Pays de Gex, about 8 km (5.0 mi) from Gex to the southwest, from which the area takes its name. Divonne-les-Bains is about 20 km (12 mi) from Geneva to the south and 10 km (6.2 mi) from Nyon to the northeast.

Résumé :
Après notre séjour dans le Pays de Gex nous prenons à présent la route pour le sud de la France.
Notre première étape se fera dans la Drôme dans un village qui abrite un étrange palais, que nous visiterons avec curiosité.
Nous continuons ensuite notre route jusqu'en Ardèche de-là nous pourrons pas nous empêcher de faire la descente de l'Ardèche en canoë . Nous ferons 24km en 5 heures environ !
Notre route nous mènera ensuite dans le département du Gard ou nous irons voir le célèbre pont du Gard, une grande première pour nous 2 !
Ensuite nous descendons jusqu'en Camargue ou nous passerons la nuit au milieu des flamants roses !
Pour finir par la ville de Sète et une vue magnifique sur la Méditerranée...
