Amarkantak ...... Narmada River is a famous religious tourist destination full of natural beauty as well as the origin of the Son River and Johila River. Amarkantak, situated in the Maikal hills, is a popular Hindu pilgrimage center in Anuppur district of Madhya Pradesh. At this place 1065 meters above sea level, only the Vindhya and Satpura hills of central India merge. The Narmada River flows westwards and the Son River in the east direction. The beautiful waterfalls, sacred ponds, high hills and serene environment mesmerize the tourists. Nature lovers and religious people love this place. Amarkantak has been glorified in many mythologies, traditions and legends. It is said that Narmada, the daughter of Lord Shiva, flows from here in the form of Jeevandayini river. There are many temples dedicated to Goddess Narmada, which are considered as the idol of Durga. Amarkantak is also famous for many Ayurvedic plants.
Airways- The nearest airport to Amarkantak is at Jabalpur, which is at a distance of about 245 kilometers.
Rail route - Pendra Road is the nearest railway station to Amarkantak which is about 35 kilometers away. In terms of convenience, Anuppur railway station is much better, which is 72 km from Amarkantak.
By Road: Amarkantak is connected by road to Madhya Pradesh and nearby cities. Regular buses are available from Pendra Road, Bilaspur and Shahdol.

गौरेला पेंड्रा मरवाही
यह भारत के छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य का एक ज़िला है। इस जिले का उदघाटन फरवरी 2020 में किया गया। गौरेला इसका मुख्यालय है। इस ज़िले का गठन बिलासपुर ज़िले का विभाजन कर किया गया था।
लक्ष्मणधारा
लोग यहां पिकनिक मानने के लिये आते है इस धारा में वर्ष भर पानी रहता है। गौरेला विकास खण्ड के खोडरी ग्राम पंचायत के निकट लगभग 18 किमी दूरी पर लक्ष्मण धारा आकर्षण का केन्द्र है।

गौरेला पेंड्रा मरवाही जिला छत्तीसगढ़ का एक मुख्य जिला है। यह जिला मध्य प्रदेश और छत्तीसगढ़ की सीमा पर स्थित है। यह जिला प्राकृतिक रूप से बहुत खूबसूरत है। यहां पर अचानकमार वन्यजीव अभयारण्य का जंगल है। इस जिले से बहुत सारी नदियों का उद्गम होता है, जिनमें से अरपा नदी प्रमुख है। गौरेला पेंड्रा मरवाही छत्तीसगढ़ की राजधानी रायपुर से करीब 200 किलोमीटर दूर है। गौरेला पेंड्रा मरवाही जिले में घूमने के लिए बहुत जगह है, चलिए जानते हैं, उनके बारे में -
लक्ष्मण धारा - Laxman Dhara
लक्ष्मण धारा गौरेला पेंड्रा मरवाही जिला का एक सुंदर पर्यटन स्थल है। यहां पर एक सुंदर झरना देखने के लिए मिलता है। यह अरपा नदी पर बना हुआ है। यहां पर अरपा नदी चट्टानों के बीच से बहती है, जो बहुत ही सुंदर लगती है। यह झरना अचानकमार वन्यजीव अभयारण्य के अंदर स्थित है। यहां पर आने के लिए कच्ची सड़क उपलब्ध है। यहां पर आकर बहुत अच्छा लगता है। यहां पर चट्टाने हैं, जिनके बीच से अरपा नदी बहती है। बरसात में इस जगह का दृश्य बहुत ही जबरदस्त रहता है। नदी के दोनों तरफ पेड़ पौधे देखने के लिए मिलते हैं।
लक्ष्मण धारा घने जंगल के अंदर स्थित है। यहां पर सरकार के द्वारा किसी भी प्रकार का व्यवस्था नहीं करवाई गई है। यह जगह लोगों के बीच में ज्यादा प्रसिद्ध नहीं है। इसलिए यहां पर बहुत कम लोग आते हैं। मगर यह जगह बहुत खूबसूरत है और यहां पर फैमिली और दोस्तों के साथ घूमने के लिए आया जा सकता है। लक्ष्मण धारा पर आकर बहुत अच्छा लगता है। अगर आप शांति में समय बिताना चाहते हैं, तो यहां पर आकर घूम सकते हैं। यह जगह गौरेला पेंड्रा मरवाही जिले में खोडरा के पास में स्थित है। यह खोडरा रेलवे स्टेशन से करीब 7 किलोमीटर दूर है। यहां पर आने के लिए कच्चा मार्ग उपलब्ध है। यहां पर कार और बाइक से पहुंचा जा सकता है।
मरही माता मंदिर भनवारटंक - Marhi Mata Temple Bhanwartank
मरही माता का मंदिर गौरेला पेंड्रा मरवाही जिले का एक धार्मिक स्थल है। यह मंदिर मरही माता को समर्पित है। यह मंदिर घने जंगल के अंदर स्थित है। मंदिर में रेलवे मार्ग और सड़क मार्ग के द्वारा पहुंचा जा सकता है। यह मंदिर भनवारटंक में स्थित है। भनवारटंक रेलवे स्टेशन से मंदिर करीब आधा किलोमीटर दूर है। यह मंदिर बहुत सुंदर है। चारों तरफ घना जंगल है और मरही माता का मंदिर देखने के लिए मिलता है। यहां पर पिकनिक मनाने के लिए आया जा सकता है। यह मंदिर पेंड्रा बिलासपुर रेल मार्ग पर स्थित है। यहां से रेल से आना आसान रहता है, क्योंकि जंगल के अंदर तक सड़क माध्यम से जाना थोड़ा कठिन रहता है। रेल से आप आते हैं, रेलवे स्टेशन से उतरकर मंदिर आसानी से जा सकते हैं। मगर यहां पर अगर रोड से आप आते हैं, तो रोड का रास्ता बहुत ज्यादा खराब है। पूरा कच्चा रास्ता है और कहीं कहीं पर रोड में बड़े-बड़े पत्थर भी हैं, जिससे आने में परेशानी होती है।
अरपा नदी का उद्गम स्थल - Origin of Arpa River
अरपा नदी छत्तीसगढ़ की मुख्य नदी है। अरपा नदी का उद्गम गौरेला पेंड्रा मरवाही जिले में खोडरी गांव में हुआ है। यहां पर एक जलधारा बहती है, जिसे अरपा उद्गम स्थल के रूप में जाना जाता है। यहां पर मंदिर भी बना हुआ है, जहां पर शिव भगवान जी विराजमान है। यहां पर आकर घुमा जा सकता है। यह जगह खोडरी रेलवे स्टेशन से करीब एक या डेढ़ किलोमीटर दूर होगी।
मलानिया बांध गौरेला पेंड्रा मरवाही - Malania Dam Gaurela Pendra Marwahi
मलानिया बांध गौरेला पेंड्रा मरवाही जिले का एक मुख्य पर्यटन स्थल है। यह बांध घने जंगलों के अंदर स्थित है। यह बांध बहुत ही सुंदर है। यह बहुत बड़ी एरिया में फैला हुआ है। यह बांध प्राकृतिक रूप से बना हुआ है। यहां पर सूर्यास्त का बहुत ही सुंदर दृश्य देखा जा सकता है। यहां पर घूमने के लिए जाया जा सकता है और अच्छा समय बिताया जा सकता है। कहा जाता है, कि यहां अरपा नदी का उद्गम स्थल से हुआ है। मलानिया बांध पेंड्रा विकासखंड के अंतर्गत आता है।
शिवघाट गौरेला पेंड्रा मरवाही - Shivghat Gaurela Pendra Marwahi
शिवघाट गौरेला पेंड्रा मरवाही जिले का एक मुख्य पर्यटन स्थल है। यह स्थल सोन नदी पर बना हुआ है। यहां पर सोन नदी पर बड़ी-बड़ी चट्टानें हैं, जिनके बीच से सोन नदी बहती है। यहां पर बहुत ही अच्छा लगता है और यहां पर शिव मंदिर है, जहां पर शिव भगवान जी का शिवलिंग विराजमान है। यहां पर महाशिवरात्रि में मेले का आयोजन होता है, जहां पर दूर-दूर से लोग मेले में आते हैं। शिवघाट गौरेला पेंड्रा मरवाही जिले में मनौरा गांव में स्थित है। यह मरवाही विकासखंड के अंतर्गत आता है। यह जगह बहुत सुंदर है और यहां पर परिवार वालों के साथ पिकनिक मनाने के लिए आया जा सकता है।
राजमेरगढ़ - Rajmergarh
राजमेरगढ़ छत्तीसगढ़ का सबसे ऊंचा पॉइंट है। यहां छत्तीसगढ़ और मध्य प्रदेश की सीमा पर स्थित है। यह जगह छत्तीसगढ़ टूरिज्म के द्वारा विकसित की गई है। यहां पर एक व्यूप्वाइंट बना हुआ है, जहां से चारों तरफ की पहाड़ियों का सुंदर दृश्य देखा जा सकता है। यहां पर दूर-दूर तक फैला हुआ सुंदर जंगल देखने के लिए मिलता है। यह जगह बहुत सुंदर है। यह जगह अमरकंटक में अमरेश्वर मंदिर के पास में स्थित है।

जय जोहार संगवारी हो मैं हूं दीपक, आज मैं आपको लेकर चलूंगा झोझा जलप्रपात यह पेंड्रा मुख्यालय से लगभग 35 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर और बिलासपुर से लगभग 140 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर है यह जलप्रपात जाने के लिए आपको रतनपुर से होते हुए पेंड्रा रोड से गौरेला के बस्ती ग्राम जाना होगा बस्ती ग्राम से आपको 2 किलोमीटर आगे जाना होगा वहां से आपको जलप्रपात जाने के लिए बोर्ड लगा हुआ है वहां से 2 किलोमीटर का रास्ता कच्ची सड़क है झोझा ग्राम से लगभग 2 किलोमीटर ट्रैकिंग करके जलप्रपात तक आप जा सकते हैं यह जलप्रपात अगस्त से जनवरी तक इसमें भरपूर पानी रहता है यहां आप अपने दोस्तों के साथ अपने फैमिली के साथ पिकनिक मनाने के लिए सकते हैं दोस्तों इसका एक छोटा सा वीडियो आप के बीच लेकर आ रहा हूं कैसा लगा मुझे कमेंट करके बताएं थैंक यू।

Amarkantak ...... Narmada River is a famous religious tourist destination full of natural beauty as well as the origin of the Son River and Johila River. Amarkantak, situated in the Maikal hills, is a popular Hindu pilgrimage center in Anuppur district of Madhya Pradesh. At this place 1065 meters above sea level, only the Vindhya and Satpura hills of central India merge. The Narmada River flows westwards and the Son River in the east direction. The beautiful waterfalls, sacred ponds, high hills and serene environment mesmerize the tourists. Nature lovers and religious people love this place. Amarkantak has been glorified in many mythologies, traditions and legends. It is said that Narmada, the daughter of Lord Shiva, flows from here in the form of Jeevandayini river. There are many temples dedicated to Goddess Narmada, which are considered as the idol of Durga. Amarkantak is also famous for many Ayurvedic plants.
Airways- The nearest airport to Amarkantak is at Jabalpur, which is at a distance of about 245 kilometers.
Rail route - Pendra Road is the nearest railway station to Amarkantak which is about 35 kilometers away. In terms of convenience, Anuppur railway station is much better, which is 72 km from Amarkantak.
By Road: Amarkantak is connected by road to Madhya Pradesh and nearby cities. Regular buses are available from Pendra Road, Bilaspur and Shahdol.

GAURELA-PENDRA-MARWAHI
History
In the newly formed district Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, the area of Pendra Zamindari was 774 sq. M and there were 225 villages under it. Two brothers named Hindusinh and Chhindusinh lived in the shelter of the King Kalachuri of Ratnapur. He found a bag full of Gold and jewellery on the side of the road, which he gave to the king. The king, pleased with his honesty, gave him Pandara in zamindari prize. This zamindari came into his family with 12 books. Pandarivan means Pandu’s great rise in the lineage of Hindusinh. Within 80 and 100 years, his descendants became the officers of the center, Uparoda, Matin. Even during the rule of Marathas, they continued to consume their landlords till 1798. In 1818, when Colonel Agnew came to be the Superintendent of Chhattisgarh, he handed over the zamindari to the old officer’s descendant Ajit Singh. Pendra Garh was an important center of Pindaris during the Maratha period. There were Pindare bandits in this area, who attacked as far as Ratanpur and Jabalpur. Due to these, this area was called Pindara, which has become Pandra in present day.
Chhattisgarh’s first newspaper, Chhattisgarh Mitra, was published as a monthly magazine in the year 1900 from Pandra in the editing of Pandit Madhavrao Sapre. The district Gaurala-Pendra-Marwahi is famous not only in the state of Chhattisgarh but in the whole of India because of its unique features like quality of rice, tribal cultural background.

Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi is situated on the border of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, and was published only on 3 July 1998 in the Gazette to make it a district. Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi came into existence on 10 February 2020 as the 28th district. District Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi in north direction from village Ghumatola North latitude 22 ° 52’17 “and East longitude 81 ° 50’31” in south direction Village Dandjamadi North latitude 22 ° 33’15 “and East longitude 82 ° 9’22 “, And Village Amgaon North Latitude 22 ° 38’41” and East Longitude 82 ° 13’17 “in East direction Village Amadob North Latitude 22 ° 37’17” and East Longitude 81 ° 44’7 ” Located up to.
District Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi, Tehsil Manendragarh District Korea Chhattisgarh in the North, Tehsil Kota District Bilaspur and Tehsil Lormi District Mugeli Chhattisgarh in the South, Tehsil Katghora District Korba in the East Korba Chhattisgarh, Tehsil Sohagpur and Pushprajgarh District in the west is surrounded by Anuppur Madhya Pradesh . The area of the district is 2307.39 square kilometers. The total population of the district is about 336420. (Source – Census 2011). Presently, Gaurala-Pendra-Marwahi district consists of 3 tehsils, 3 blocks and 223 villages.

झोझा जलप्रपात जो है बिलासपुर से ग्राम बस्ती बगरा लगभग 140 कि.मी. और पेंड्रा से बस्ती बगरा लगभग 40 कि.मी., ग्राम बस्ती बगरा से आपको अपनी साधन (वाहन) को खड़ी करके 2 कि. मी. पैदल जाना पड़ेगा ।
बिलासपुर से लगभग 3घंटे 17 मिनट का रास्ता है । जलप्रपात प्रकृति द्वारा बनाया गया ख़ूबसूरत नजा में से एक है । यहां प्रकृति की अनुपम सौंदर्य का खजाना है ।
जलप्रपात का मनोरम दृश्य मंत्र मुग्ध कर देता है इसलिेए आकर्षण का केंद्र बना रहता है ।
यह डैम बिलासपुर शहर के नजदीक जलप्रपात, पिकनिकस्पॉट में से एक है । बरसात के दिनों में यहां लोगो की भीड़- भाड़ लगा रहता है । इस जलप्रपात की उच्चाई लगभग 100 फ़ीट है । यह गौरेला पेंड्रा मरवाही क्षेत्र का उच्चा और बडा जलप्रपात है । यहां जाने का सही समय अगस्त से जनवरी है
। आप यहां अपने फैमिली फ्रेंड्स के साथ घूमने जरुर आईये ।
कैसे पहुंचे:-
हावाई जहाज:-
राजधानी रायपुर से लगभग 230 कि. मी. की दूरी ।
रायपुर से बिलासपुर बिलासपुर से रतनपुर मार्ग से होते हुए बस्ती बगरा ग्राम से झोझा जलप्रपात पहुंच सकते है।
रेलगाड़ी द्वारा:-
बिलासपुर से पेंड्रारोड रेलवे स्टेशन के लिए रेलगाड़ी की सुविधा से पेंड्रा से लगभग 40 कि.मी. ,बस्ती बगरा से 2 कि. मी. का सफर करके पहुंच सकते है।
साधन द्वारा:-
बिलासपुर से गौरेला पेंड्रा मरवाही के लिए बस उपलब्ध है , बाईक, कार और अन्य साधनो से यहां पहुंच सकते है!

History
In the newly formed district Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, the area of Pendra Zamindari was 774 sq. M and there were 225 villages under it. Two brothers named Hindusinh and Chhindusinh lived in the shelter of the King Kalachuri of Ratnapur. He found a bag full of Gold and jewellery on the side of the road, which he gave to the king. The king, pleased with his honesty, gave him Pandara in zamindari prize. This zamindari came into his family with 12 books. Pandarivan means Pandu’s great rise in the lineage of Hindusinh. Within 80 and 100 years, his descendants became the officers of the center, Uparoda, Matin. Even during the rule of Marathas, they continued to consume their landlords till 1798. In 1818, when Colonel Agnew came to be the Superintendent of Chhattisgarh, he handed over the zamindari to the old officer’s descendant Ajit Singh. Pendra Garh was an important center of Pindaris during the Maratha period. There were Pindare bandits in this area, who attacked as far as Ratanpur and Jabalpur. Due to these, this area was called Pindara, which has become Pandra in present day.
Chhattisgarh’s first newspaper, Chhattisgarh Mitra, was published as a monthly magazine in the year 1900 from Pandra in the editing of Pandit Madhavrao Sapre. The district Gaurala-Pendra-Marwahi is famous not only in the state of Chhattisgarh but in the whole of India because of its unique features like quality of rice, tribal cultural background.
About District
Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi is situated on the border of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, and was published only on 3 July 1998 in the Gazette to make it a district. Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi came into existence on 10 February 2020 as the 28th district. District Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi in north direction from village Ghumatola North latitude 22 ° 52’17 “and East longitude 81 ° 50’31” in south direction Village Dandjamadi North latitude 22 ° 33’15 “and East longitude 82 ° 9’22 “, And Village Amgaon North Latitude 22 ° 38’41” and East Longitude 82 ° 13’17 “in East direction Village Amadob North Latitude 22 ° 37’17” and East Longitude 81 ° 44’7 ” Located up to.

Presently, Gaurala-Pendra-Marwahi district consists of 3 tehsils, 3 blocks and 223 villages.
