Trnava seems like a nice, quiet college city with plenty of cafes in the downtown area, as well as some landmarks to see. It is a historic city with a historic feel to it....this is the 2nd city trip out of 8.
I wanted to give you a real-life experience of what it's like to visit Trnava, coming from Bratislava by train.

Invaded The Biggest Shopping Mall in Bratislava - Slovakia ????????
The Nivy mall is a new supra-regional shopping centre located in the city of Bratislava, Slovakia.
Inaugurated in September 2021, the Nivy mall is part of the Nivy Station, a mixed-use development comprising the shopping mall, a new airport-style international bus terminal, an office tower, and a fresh produce marketplace.
The mixed-use development created a unique complex that combines travel, business, services, and leisure facilities. The Nivy Station is projected to become an important transport hub and a major social hub in the city.
The complex sits on the site of the former bus station Mlynské Nivy, which was built in 1983. The approval for the start of construction of the mall was granted in March 2017. Construction then began in May the same year.
The Nivy mall is located at Mlynske nivy street, in the Ružinov suburb in Bratislava, the capital city of Slovakia. The location is at the centre of the business district.
The shopping centre is close to Nivy Tower, a 125m-tall office building that is the tallest building in the country.
The Nivy Station building has five floors, including a below-ground floor, which houses the bus station. The ground and first floors are home to retail stores while the second floor houses the marketplace and food court. The third floor offers a green roof, which features a park, a sports facility, and an outdoor gathering space.

Trnava (Slovak pronunciation: [ˈtr̩naʋa] (listen), German: Tyrnau; Hungarian: Nagyszombat, also known by other alternative names) is a city in western Slovakia, 47 km (29 mi) to the northeast of Bratislava, on the Trnávka river. It is the capital of a kraj (Trnava Region) and of an okres (Trnava District). It is the seat of a Roman Catholic archbishopric (1541–1820 and then again since 1977). The city has a historic center. Because of the many churches within its city walls, Trnava has often been called Little Rome (Slovak: Malý Rím, Latin: parva Roma), or more recently, the Slovak Rome.
