Château Gaillard est un domaine royal de 15 hectares, le paradis oublié de Charles VIII en plein coeur de la ville d'Amboise. En 1496, à son retour d'Italie, le jeune roi Charles VIII décide de recréer toutes les merveilles italiennes découvertes lors de son séjour. Il convainc 22 artistes italiens de le suivre jusqu'à Amboise pour créer un paradis terrestre. Le moine napolitain Dom Pacello, le plus célèbre jardinier en 1500, fait partie du voyage. C'est lui qui invente les premiers jardins de la Renaissance française à Château Gaillard. Il y acclimate également les premiers orangers de France ! Après 5 ans de restaurations pharaoniques par 50 artisans et 300 ouvriers du Val de Loire, le domaine a ouvert au public en 2016.

프랑스 여행 중에 많이 가는 지베르니 근처 멀지 않은 곳에 위치한 ‘가이야르 성 Château-Gaillard’은 12세기에 지어진 난공불락의 요새로, 파리로부터 약 100km 떨어진 ‘레 장델리 Les Andelys’라는 조그만 마을의 언덕에 있는데, 센느 강변 석회암반 위에 우뚝 솟은 요새는 영국의 왕이면서도 노르망디 공국을 다스리던 ‘리차드 사자심왕 Richard Cœur de Lion’ (獅子心王)이 프랑스의 ‘필립 오귀스트 Philippe Auguste ‘ 왕에게서 공국을 지켜내기 위하여 세운 것이다.
인상파 화가 끌로드 모네의 ‘지베르니’ 정원에서 가까이에 위치한 곳으로, 아름다운 센느강변 언덕 위에 폐허로 남은 모습이 인상적이다.
역사
1189년 리처드는 부왕 ‘헨리 2세 Henri II Plantagenêt ‘의 뒤를 이어 #영국 왕으로 등극하면서, 할머니로부터 노르망디 지역을, 아버지의 ‘앙주 Anjou’ 지방과 영국을, 어머니 ‘알리에노흐 다키텐 Aliénor d'Aquitaine’으로부터 ‘아키텐’ 지방을 함께 상속받는데, 노르망디 지방의 공작이기도 한 리처드가 다스리는 영토는 프랑스 국왕보다 3배 정도 더 크다.
1190년 제 3차 #십자군 전쟁에 프랑스의 왕 ‘필립 오귀스트’와 함께 참가하지만, 프랑스 왕은 병을 핑계로 일찍 귀환하여 영토확장 전쟁을 하면서, 리차드의 땅을 야금 야금 빼앗는다.
한편, 이슬람의 영웅 ‘살라딘 Saladine’과 평화협정을 맺고 후퇴하다가 오스트리아에 포로가 된 리차드는 막대한 몸값을 지불하고 풀려나자마자, 프랑스의 오귀스트 필립에게 빼앗겼던 땅을 되 찾고, 노르망디 지역을 지키기위하여 국경지대에 1197년부터이 성을 건설하기 시작하여 1198년에 완공한 것이다.
안타깝게도, 1199년 #리처드 사자심왕이 리모쥬 자작과의 전투에서 사망하고, 동생인 ‘실지왕 존 Jean sans Terre’이 등극하자1203년 9월부터 1204년 3월까지 ‘샤토 가이야르’를 포위 공격하여 함락시키고 노르망디 지역을 빼앗아 버린다.
세월이 흘러, 영국과 프랑스가 왕위 계승문제로 1337년부터 시작한 백년전쟁이 한창이던 1419년에는 영국에게 빼앗겼고, ‘잔 다르크 Jeanne d’Arc’에 의하여 1430년에 다시금 찾아왔다.
#백년전쟁 이후, 영국군이 물러나고 30년 종교전쟁 이후로는 산적 떼들의 소굴이 되자, 주민들의 청원으로 ‘앙리 4세 Henri IV’가 성을 파괴하였고, 아랫동네의 수도원 건설에 성의 돌들을 이용하도록 허가하면서 지금의 모습으로 남는다. 폐허의 모습이 애잔하게 아름다운 ‘샤또 가이야르’….

It is located on a hill in a small village called 'Les Andelys', about 100km from Paris. Vannes is a walled town in the Brittany region of northwest France. Its old town is characterized by narrow cobbled streets and medieval gates. At its heart, Cathédrale Saint-Pierre de Vannes blends Romanesque and Gothic styles, while Place des Lices square is lined with colorful half-timber houses. The harbor, to the south, features restaurants and boats that cruise the Gulf of Morbihan.
Vannes is located on the Gulf of Morbihan at the mouth of two rivers, the Marle and the Vincin. It is around 100 kilometres (62 miles) northwest of Nantes and 450 km (280 mi) south west of Paris. Vannes is a market town and often linked to the sea.
What a beauty! Overlooking the Golfe du Morbihan, Vannes is one of the unmissable towns of Brittany. Spectacular fortifications encircle Vannes' meandering alleys and cobbled squares, and lead down to a sparkling marina lined with cafes and townhouses. The city still preserves much of its medieval atmosphere, but it's a long way from being a museum piece. It has a lively bar and restaurant scene year-round, and it's also an excellent base for exploring the glittering island-studded Golfe du Morbihan and nearby neolithic sites.
The name Vannes comes from the Veneti, a seafaring Celtic people who lived in the south-western part of Armorica in Gaul before the Roman invasions. The region seems to have been involved in a cross channel trade for thousands of years, probably using hide boats and perhaps Ferriby Boats. Wheat that apparently was grown in the Middle East was part of this trade. At about 150 BC the evidence of trade (such as Gallo-Belgic coins) with the Thames estuary area of Great Britain dramatically increased.

Le marché de Gaillard se déroule tous les samedis matins, à Moëllesulaz, de 7h30 à 13h.
Si vous désirez venir flâner sur le marché de Gaillard, celui-ci se déroule tous les samedis matins sur la Place du Marché de 07h30 à 13h où vous attendent de nombreux commerçants avec des produits divers et variés.
Si vous êtes commerçants non sédentaire ou artisan, vous pouvez venir déballer en tant que passager, sous réserve d’être titulaire des pièces justificatives suivantes :
Carte de commerçant non sédentaire en cours.
Copie de l’extrait du registre du commerce, certifiée conforme par le tribunal du commerce et datant de moins d’un mois
Attestation d’assurance en cours de validité.
En possession de ces documents, vous vous présenterez dès 07h30 auprès du placier qui vous attribuera un emplacement après tirage au sort, sous réserve des places disponibles.
Pour information, le montant des droits de place s’élève à 1.50 euros le mètre linéaire.
Si vous représentez une association de Gaillard et que vous souhaitez vendre, vous aurez droit à deux présences par an sur le marché. Une demande écrite devra être adressée à Monsieur le Maire.

Château Gaillard, Amboise by Drone 4K
Referred to as The forgotten royal paradise, Château Gaillard has a long history. In 1496, King Charles VIII returned from Italy and wanted to create gardens such as he had seen in Naples. Enlisting Dom Pacello de Mercoliano, sometimes called the inventer of the art of gardens, Charles created the first Renaissance gardens in France. The château later passed to King Louis XII, and ultimately to King François I.
