From Wikipedia:
Frederick is a city in and the county seat of Frederick County, Maryland. It is part of the Baltimore–Washington Metropolitan Area. Frederick has long since been an important crossroads, located at the intersection of a major north–south Native American trail and east–west routes to the Chesapeake Bay, both at Baltimore and what became Washington, D.C. and across the Appalachian mountains to the Ohio River watershed. It is a part of the Washington-Arlington-Alexandria, DC-VA-MD-WV Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is part of a greater Washington-Baltimore-Arlington, DC-MD-VA-WV-PA Combined Statistical Area. The city's population was 78,171 people as of the 2020 United States census,[3] making it the second-largest incorporated city in Maryland (behind Baltimore). Frederick is home to Frederick Municipal Airport (IATA: FDK), which accommodates general aviation, and Fort Detrick, a U.S. Army bioscience/communications research installation and Frederick county's largest employer.

Number 7 FELLS POINT HISTORIC DISTRICT
Fells Point Historic District
Just east of the harbour, the colonial-era area of Fells Point is a beautiful place to walk, eat, shop, and listen to live music outside. This beautiful, well-preserved 14-block district was founded in 1730 as a seafaring town. It is now the thriving cultural centre of Baltimore.

Number 6 FORT MCHENRY NATIONAL MONUMENT AND HISTORIC SHRINE
Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine
The Battle of Baltimore, which took place near Fort McHenry, is one of the most important military victories in American history (1814). The British fleet tried to attack Fort McHenry, but the people there fought back. This inspired Francis Scott Key to write The Star-Spangled Banner in the months that followed.

Number 5 LEARN ABOUT BALTIMORE'S DEEP AFRICAN AMERICAN ROOTS
Learn about Baltimore's deep African American roots
Maryland and African American history and culture go back hundreds of years. People like Thurgood Marshall and Frederick Douglass changed the course of American history forever. The Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture has a great collection of artworks and documents from as far back as 1784 that give a deep look into the history of black people in Maryland.

Number 4 GO TO A GAME AT ORIOLE PARK
Go to a game at Oriole Park
There is no better way to feel like a real Baltimorean than to join the sea of orange-shirted fans going to a game at Orioles Park. The park is a few blocks east of Inner Harbor. It was built in the 1990s in a retro style and is still a fun and comfortable place to watch sports. The Baltimore Orioles play their home games at Oriole Park, which people in the area call Camden Yards. People who go to the park often say that it feels like a real baseball game, with hot dogs, peanuts, and cold beers flowing freely. Take me out to the ball game, the speakers blared. If you go to the stadium when it's not a game day, you can take a cool tour through the press box, the dugouts, and even onto the field.

Number 3 EDGAR ALLAN POE HOUSE AND MUSEUM
Edgar Allan Poe House and Museum
The Edgar Allan Poe House and Museum takes you back to the beginning of the 19th century in the United States. Poe lived in Baltimore for a few years. It is said that he wrote most of his best poems and short stories in this row house. Poe is known for his creative and sometimes scary poems and short stories. When you walk into the house, which is now a museum, you find a lot of Poe's things, like a telescope and a portable writing table. Even though the house is empty, you can walk the same halls and stairs that Poe did more than 200 years ago. An audio tour that you can do on your own takes about an hour.

Number 2 INNER HARBOR
Inner Harbor
Since the 18th century, Baltimore's Inner Harbor has been an important seaport, and it is still the heart of the city. Some of Baltimore's best attractions are in the harbour, which is just south of downtown and connected by a 7-mile brick waterfront promenade. Spend the day walking around and shopping at one of the many boutique malls or stopping to watch exciting street shows. The main attractions are the National Aquarium, the Maryland Science Center, and the USS Constellation Museum.

Number 1 BALTIMORE MUSEUM OF ART
Baltimore Museum of Art
The Baltimore Museum of Art is a well-known art museum right next to Johns Hopkins University. It draws art lovers from all over the world. When the museum first opened, it only showed one piece of art at a time. Now, it has over 95,000 pieces from famous artists like Andy Warhol, Picasso, and Cézanne. The most impressive part of the museum is the 1,000-piece Matisse collection in the Cone Wing, which was given to the museum by two sisters from Baltimore a few decades ago. In the Contemporary Wing, you can see works by women artists and artists of colour.
