Moldova (/mɒlˈdoʊvə/ (About this soundlisten), sometimes UK: /ˈmɒldəvə/),[11][12][13] officially the Republic of Moldova (Romanian: Republica Moldova), is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe.[14] It is bordered by Romania to the west and Ukraine to the north, east, and south.[15] The capital city is Chișinău.
Most of the Moldovan territory was a part of the Principality of Moldavia from the 14th century until 1812, when it was ceded to the Russian Empire by the Ottoman Empire (to which Moldavia was a vassal state) and became known as Bessarabia. In 1856, southern Bessarabia was returned to Moldavia, which three years later united with Wallachia to form Romania, but Russian rule was restored over the whole of the region in 1878. During the 1917 Russian Revolution, Bessarabia briefly became an autonomous state within the Russian Republic, known as the Moldavian Democratic Republic. In February 1918, the Moldavian Democratic Republic declared independence and then integrated into Romania later that year following a vote of its assembly. The decision was disputed by Soviet Russia, which in 1924 established, within the Ukrainian SSR, a Moldavian autonomous republic (MASSR) on partially Moldovan-inhabited territories to the east of Bessarabia. In 1940, as a consequence of the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact, Romania was compelled to cede Bessarabia to the Soviet Union, leading to the creation of the Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic (Moldavian SSR), which included the greater part of Bessarabia and the westernmost strip of the former MASSR (east of the Dniester River).
On 27 August 1991, as the dissolution of the Soviet Union was underway, the Moldavian SSR declared independence and took the name Moldova.[16] The constitution of Moldova was adopted in 1994. The strip of the Moldovan territory on the east bank of the Dniester has been under the de facto control of the breakaway government of Transnistria since 1990.
Due to a decrease in industrial and agricultural output following the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the service sector has grown to dominate Moldova's economy and is over 60% of the nation's GDP. Its economy is the poorest in Europe in per capita terms[15] and has the lowest Human Development Index in the continent.
Moldova is a parliamentary republic with a president as head of state and a prime minister as head of government. It is a member state of the United Nations, the Council of Europe, the World Trade Organization (WTO), the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), the GUAM Organization for Democracy and Economic Development, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC).

Mostly walking through the markets and a big park they had there. I ate a lot of pizza, lots of it. I highly recommend Andy's pizza. I subsisted off of pizza alone from that place for the entirety of my stay in Chisinau. My only regret is that I didn't try it sooner. Other than that, Chisinau is pretty much a normal city.

satul Domulgeni, raionul Florești
La 10 noiembrie 1940 autoritățile sovietice au fixat la Domulgeni 1318 locuitori, ca peste nouă ani după război, foamete și deportări, să treacă aici în registru doar 1091 de suflete. Astăzi situația demografică este aceeași, doar că oamenii sunt altfel, sunt la fel de muncitori și mereu în gânduri la ziua de mâine, toți așteaptă zile senine și pace.
Ştefăneşti - Domulgeni un traseu pe malul râului Răut! Călătorim prin Moldova, ieşim din Chişinău.
În acest video am parcurs traseul pe malul râului Răut din s.Ștefănești până în s.Domulgeni.
Am văzut:
- biserica din s.Căprești;
- defileul de lângă s.Ștefănești;
- cariera de piatră Ștefănești;
- turnul de piatră din s.Domulgeni;
- locul unde în fiecare an se organizează Festivalul Turistic Național al Tradițiilor Duminica Mare;
Durata traseului: 1 oră și 20 min.din Chișinău cu mașina și 6 ore dus-întors pe jos.

2 серия. Бобулешты - непростое село. Скала из «Король лев». Проедем ли аварийный мост? Дуб Штефана.
MD: O sesiune foto pe calea ferată.”Regele leu” ca la moldoveni. Vom trece oare peste podul avariat? Stejarul lui Ștefan. Eu sunt Andrei Elistratov & Co și am lansat acest proiect în scopul acumulării unui număr maxim de locuri interesante din Moldova și creării variantelor de trasee, pe care Dvs. veți dori să le explorați personal! Vom încerca să demonstrăm aceasta într-un format lejer. Începem cu harta traseului nostru de azi. Din capitală până la primul nostru punct în satul Bobulești, avem 120 km. Drumul nostru a trecut prin orașul Florești, aeroportul Mărculești, apoi am schimbat direcția și am ajuns la Cuhureștii de Sus și am ajuns la finiș în satul Cobîlea. Lungimea totală a drumului parcurs a fost de 72 km. Este a doua ediție a proiectului nostru și locul în care ne aflăm este o fostă cetate, care își apăra locuitorii. Vom încerca să vedem contururile acestei cetăți.Aceste locuri ține de evenimentele sec.IX! Anume aici a fost învinsă flotila fluvială a Cneazului de Kiyv – Oleg Profetul. Și toate acestea aici, în satul Bobulești. În apropiere de Bobulești există un mic tunel și o săpătură în piatră pentru calea ferată din a.1893 și se pare foarte potrivit pentru o sesiune foto.Un loc frumos în apropiere de Florești. Și există ceva interesant – grotele. Vă amintiți cunoscutul desen animat ”Regele leu”, ei bine, noi am găsit locul care i-a inspirat de pictorii de la Disney. La Florești, este un monument cu un avion de vânătoare MIG-19. Următorul punct în călătoria noastră este aeroportul Mărculești. Pe drum, am dat de un pod interesant. Ca aspect, pare să fie proiectat de Eiffel, dar nu este așa. Apropo, la Ungheni chiar există un pod proiectat de Eiffel, e un fapt interesant. Podul nostru e într-o stare foarte dubioasă dar eu am vrut să-l traversez cu mașina!!!La 35 km de Florești și 165 km de capitală se află satul Cuhureștii de Sus și deci la istoria acestui sat a contribuit da, chiar acel arhitect cunoscut – Alexei Sciusev.Satul Cobâlea, raionul Șoldănești și anume acel stejar – Stejarul lui Ștefan cel mare.Conform datelor oficiale, este cel mai bătrân copac pe teritoriului Moldovei, el are peste 700 de ani. În circumferință, trunchiul lui are 7,5 metri, iar coroana – o suprafață de cca 1000 m.p.

Начнем с карты нашего сегодняшнего маршрута. От столицы до первой нашей точки в селе Бобулешть - 120 километров.
Наш путь проходил через город Флорешты, аэропорт Маркулешть, затем мы поменяли направление и достигли села Cuhurestii de Sus и финишировали в селе Кобыля. Общая протяженность пройденного пути составила 72 км. Это второй выпуск нашего проекта и первое место в котором мы находимся, это бывшая крепость, которая защищала своих жителей И мы попробуем увидеть очертания и контуры этой крепости.Эти места связаны с событиями конца IX века! Именно здесь была разбита речная флотилия Князя Киевского - Олега Вещего. И все это здесь в селе Бобулешть.Возле села есть маленький тоннель и скальная выемка для железнодорожных путей 1893-го года, это место очень интересным для фотосессии. Очень красивое место возле Флорешть, здесь есть - это гроты.Помните известный мультфильм «Король Лев», так вот мы нашли место, которое вдохновило художников из Диснея на его создание. Во Флорештах есть памятник с самолетом-истребителем МИГ-19.Следующая точка нашего маршрута - аэропорт Маркулешть. А по дороге мы наткнулись на интересный мост. С виду его как-будто проектировал Эйфель, но это не так, а кстати, в Унгенах есть мост, который действительно спроектировал Эйфель, интересный факт. Состояние нашего моста его очень сомнительное но я захотел проехать его на машине его!!!
В 35 км от города Флорешты и в 165 км от Столицы есть село Кухурештий де Сус, а значимый вклад в историю этого села внес, да, тот самый Алексей Щусев - известный архитектор.Село Кобыля, района Шолданешть и тот самый дуб - Дуб Штефана чел Маре.По официальным данным - это самое старое дерево на территории Молдовы и ему более 700 лет. Palatul Micul Trianon Floresti Prahova Romania.Exista monumente de arhitectura ridicate de nobilimea autentica a Romaniei pe care vremea si vremurile le-au adus intr-o stare jalnica. Unul dintre ele este Micul Trianon de la Floresti-Prahova. Se spune ca aceasta cladire a fost urmarita de un blestem crunt. in anul 1907, Grigore Gh. Cantacuzino, unul dintre cei mai mari mosieri ai Romaniei, poreclit Nababul, incepe constructia unui palat cum nu s-a mai vazut pe la noi. La dorinta principesei Alice, fiica lui, palatul va avea 365 de dormitoare, cate unul pentru fiecare zi a anului, sapte sali de bal, multe saloane si un parc dendrologic de 150 de hectare, cu arbusti de esenta rara, apeducte, terenuri de vanatoare, golf si echitatie. Dupa moartea Nababului, mostenitorii acestuia nu au mai avut bani sa finalizeze grandioasa lucrare. Palatul a fost parasit inainte sa se fi locuit in el.Armata Rosie a furat coloanele ionice din piatra de Albesti La inceputul celui de-al doilea razboi mondial, impresionati de frumusetea si rafinamentul palatului, nemtii incep sa faca de garda in jurul lui. Chiar generalul Von Paulus, mare iubitor de arta, a scris in memoriile sale: Valea Prahovei, pe langa petrol si Peles mai are o bogatie de nepretuit: palatul Micului Trianon, mai izbutit si maret decat originalul de la Paris. Nu trece mult timp si Micul Trianon incepe sa fie devastat, intai de Armata Rosie eliberatoare, care a luat cateva coloane ionice din piatra de Albesti, apoi de taranii din zona. Acestia au smuls din trupul monumentului, ani de-a randul, piatra, elemente decorative baroce, renascentiste sau neoclasice, impodobindu-si grajdurile si cocinele. Si, pentru ca nu era de ajuns, guvernul Petru Groza aduce in apropierea Micului Trianon o satra de tigani, care a fost sfatuita tovaraseste sa caute printre zidurile palatului materiale de constructie pentru a-si ridica niste cocioabe. Din cauza furturilor de piatra, structura de rezistenta a cladirii a fost slabita. in 1977 s-au daramat cosurile. Atunci au cazut si zidurile interioare. Mai nou, palatul sufera din cauza unei ciuperci litofage, un fel de cancer al pietrei. O eventuala restaurare a acestui obiectiv de o valoare istorica inestimabila depaseste puterile bugetului, fara a pomeni banii pentru dezinfectare. Investitorii straini se tin departe din cauza sanatoriului TBC aflat in apropiere. Desi zona arata deosebit de pitoresc, nici patronii autohtoni nu se inghesuie sa-si faca vile acolo. Chiar si Ceausescu intentiona sa-si faca aici o resedinta, dar, cand a auzit de sanatoriu, a renuntat. Autor text DANA FODOR publicat 2005.
