1582, a key date in the history of the Estate - On 1 February 1582, the Bishop of Montpellier gave Pierre Verchant an estate, which acquired his name and remained in the family for the next two centuries. On 23 September 1878, Jules Leenhardt acquired the estate and manor house inspired by the Montpellier Follies, built in the unique grounds' heart. He paid particular attention to these grounds, even calling on eminent Swiss landscape architects of the time: the Bühler brothers.

driver view French Hérault Dept. Rd. D600 south from A9 Motorway to Sète (improved version)
This is a technically correct version finally of a driver's view of Hérault Dept. Rd. D600 going south from the A9 Autoroute all the way to the Mediterranean Sea in Sète, France on November 27, 2018. We were on our way back from Montpellier in a Viking tour bus having been on a tour of Chateau de Flaugerges and Montpellier. D600 is exit 33 on the A9 Motorway if anyone cares. The video begins just after the toll booth and ends in the traffic circle where you can either exit to the commercial port or take D612 east. At around 3:23 you can see some of the yellow vest protesters so much in the news at the time (November 2018)--they were holding up a fuel truck according to our Viking tour guide.

Le Mèze S.F.C avait rendez-vous avec son histoire le dimanche 13 octobre 2019. Pour la première fois, le club allait disputer un 5ème tour de #CoupedeFrance. Enmenés par un Eric Miramond remonté, les blancs de Mèze rencontraient l'AS Fabrègues (Nationale 3). Trois divisions séparaient les deux équipes au coup d'envoi. Pendant une semaine, les dirigeants et joueurs se sont préparés pour créer l'exploit. REPORTAGE

This is what you see about 50 km south of the Millau bridge at highway A-75 in the south-central part of France. I drove to the bridge coming from a small village near Montpellier (Fabrègues).
First I visited the town of Millau, then the exhibition centre about the bridge and finally simply the beautiful surroundings of Millau. This is a part of France I don't know very well but as so often with that country, this part of France (Tarn valley) is also extremely beautiful !
