STREET VIEW: Böblingen bei Stuttgart in GERMANY
Wir starten vor der Kongreßhalle in Böblingen und gehen am unteren See entlang bis zur Poststraße. Von dort aus gehen wir über die Pfarrgasse hinauf auf den Marktplatz. Anschließend gehen wir auf den Schloßberg hinauf und über den Marktplatz und die Pfarrgasse zur Tübinger Straße hinunter. Über die Uferstraße gelangen wir schließlich zum Oberen See in Böblingen.
Böblingen is a city with a lot of industry in the South West of Germany and nearby to Stuttgart.
Pforzheim, Sehenswürdigkeiten der Goldstadt
Auf unserem Rundgang durch Pforzheim (am Nordrand des Schwarzwalds in Baden-Württemberg) besichtigen wir u.a. die Schloss- und Stiftskirche St. Michael, die Barfüßerkirche, das Altes und das Neue Rathaus am Marktplatz, das Reuchlin-Denkmal und die Flößer-Skulptur auf der Auer Brücke.

Automobile theme was well spread throughout the hotel. Many little details to discover, especially if you have booked a themed room. We spent hours looking at precious cars.
Rooms fantastic, Ultra modern and very comfy, amazing Motorworld location if your into your cars a must go. The hotel is super clean and has 2 very very good restaurants right on location so no driving.
The decor is fantastic! It may look zany and over the top (it is a bit) but the finish is excellent and the cleanliness is perfect. Really relaxed vibe, you can come and go without anyone in your face.
Minuses:
Traffic back from the Messe Stuttgart every evening is challenging but worth the effort.
Other things to do right on location a little sparce, but that is the only downside.

The UNESCO World Heritage site of Maulbrunn Monastery is a large monastic complex in south-western Germany, beautifully well-preserved since the Middle Ages. It's apparently one of the most complex monasteries north of the Alps, and it's certainly an impressive sight with lots of timber-framed buildings, Romanesque chapels, and one of the first Gothic buildings in all of Germany.

???????? Großes VON-Narrentreffen 2024 in Wehr ???????? Kompletter Jubiläumsumzug in HD 120 Min. [14.01.2024]
Wehr - Anlässlich dem Jubiläum 150 Jahre Narrenzunft Wehr e.V. fand am Sonntag, den 14.01.2024 das VON-Narrentreffen statt. Es war ein großer Erfolg. Bei Kaiserwetter zogen 4300 Hästräger durch die Stadt und feierten mit den rund 9000 Besuchern.
Wurden alle Erwartungen vom großen Narrentreffen der Vogtei Dreiländereck im Verband Oberrheinischer Narrenzünfte (VON) erfüllt? Es kamen 4300 Hästräger und Guggenmusiker in 243 Einzelgruppen zum Jubiläumsumzug der Narrenzunft Wehr. Die langen Anfahrtswege und die eiskalten Temperaturen schreckten nicht ab. Nach dem dreistunden langen Umzug konnte Hunger und Durst bei diversen Verpflegungsständen in eisiger Kälte entlang der Umzugsstrecke, sowie am Talschulplatz und am Rathaus gestillt werden. Von den 15.000 Besuchern, die erwartet wurden, kamen schätzungsweise 9000 Menschen, die sich entlang der Umzugsstrecke am Straßenrand versammelten. Mit Konfetti wurde dieses Jahr nicht gespart.
Auffallend jedoch war dieses Jahr der Verzicht auf Musikanlagen, die sonst teilweise von den verschieden Cliquen mitgeführt werden. Eine Teilnehmerin wurde laut ihrer Aussage vom Ordnungsteam aufgefordert die Musik wieder abzustellen. Der Grund sei, dass für den Jubiläumsumzug seitens des Veranstalters keine GEMA angemeldet wurde.
