NIGHTMARE TRAVEL DAY in the Dominican Republic ???? Travel to Las Terrenas in Samana

This week's video will be a bit different than usual! We're heading to Las Terrenas (Samana, Dominican Republic) from Cabarete, however, things don't go at all as planned.

We had six nights planned in Las Terrenas but we required a 4 wheel drive to get up to the villa we planned to stay at, which was outside of the town of Las Terrenas, and up a very steep hill. After our rental arrived that was not a 4 wheel drive we hunted around for another car with no luck.

The next day we left in a much smaller call that was definitely not a 4 wheel drive but we decided to try it anyway. After making the 3 hour drive from Cabarete to Las Terrenas along the north coast of the Dominican Republic the car couldn't make it up the very steep, wet hill and we were left scrambling to find accommodations in Las Terrenas.

Why Everyone is Moving to Las Terrenas, Samana ???????? Living in the Dominican Republic

Get Surfshark VPN at - Enter promo code DELIGHTFUL for 83% off and 3 extra months for FREE!

In this video we're talking about why Las Terrenas, Samana in the Dominican Republic has become so popular in the last couple of years.

We make our way around Las Terrenas, from Playa Bonita to Playa Las Ballenas and in town to talk about what everyone loves about this town.

We talk about how amazing the beaches are in Las Terrenas as well as different water sports (surfing and kite boarding) you can do here.

We also talk about the unique transportation options, we've rented a quad bike (ATV) which is a common way to get around on the roads here. You can also drive UTVs (buggies), golf carts and of course cars and motorbikes.

We discuss real estate options and prices and what you can get for condos and villas.

Lastly we head into the main part of town to Plaza Centro Colonial. A building that isn't historic (but looks like it is) and looks like it's straight out of Spain. We have happy hour drinks at a place called the Garage Bar. While here we talk about the European influence and feel of Las Terrenas.

L1726DB Esperanza lots for sale Las Terrenas Dominican Republic for sale

Esperanza Las Terrenas Samana Dominican Republic Building lots For Sale Ocean View
This building lot is situated inside one of the premier gated communities in or around Las Terrenas.

At this moment in time this is one of the very last lots left with Ocean Views

The lot is a perfect sized parcel to build your dream home with views over the surrounding mountains and country side.

The development has paved roads and beautiful landscaped gardens with its own tennis club, small nature lake, helicopter pad and a virtually private beach.

This lot is only 10 minutes drive from the heart of Las Terrenas and only 25 minutes from Samana International airport AZS at El Catey.

The Historic capital of Santo Domingo with its International airport SQD is less than 2 hours drive away

There are many multi million dollar homes set in this large gated community this lot will allow the new owner the ability to construct a large family house.

Our sister company LAS TERRENAS PROPERTY can assist in all aspects of design and construction.

The Esperanza Las Terrenas Samana Dominican Republic Building lots For Sale Ocean View is spread over a hill with some mature trees and topical shrubs and plants

The lot has both paved roads with lighting, electric and water to its boundary at the top.

The house would have to be built towards the top to get the ocean views

This is a great opportunity to acquire a building lot within a very prestige’s gated community.

There is another lower lot that joins this one with access from another paved road both lots could be purchased as one lot giving 1818m2 of land teh total cost of this would be US$450,000 or best offer

Please ask us for more details and construction options on this Esperanza Las Terrenas Samana Dominican Republic Building lots For Sale Ocean View

DISASTER ON THE BEACH in the Dominican Republic ???? Las Galeras Samana Tour. Playa Fronton + Rincon ????

Everyone told us that while in Las Galeras, Samana, the Dominican Republic, we have to go on a beach tour day to Playa Fronton, Playa Madame and Play Rincon by boat.

Subscribe to our Friends ???? @Theendlessadventure

This beaches in the Dominican Republic, especially Playa Rincon is rated as one of the best beaches in the entire world.

Unfortunately things didn't go quite as planned. Our tour started about an hour late, the swells and waves getting to Playa Fronton were huge and quite scary. But we did get to see Humpback Whales (Humpback Whales are in Samana Bay from January to March each year).

At Playa Fronton we lost our drone (DJI Mavic Mini), but our tour guide ended up finding it, although it was broken so we were thankfully able to get some footage off of it. It also rained quite a bit while we were at the beach.

Because of the weather and the swells in the ocean we decided to skip Playa Madame and head straight to Playa Rincon. At Playa Rincon we had an awesome lunch and got to relax a bit.

In the First City of the New World | Santo Domingo | Dominican Republic Travel

Dominican Republic is the second largest country in the Caribbean. The island Hispaniola is divided into 2 countries, Haiti on the west and Dominican Republic on the east. We arrived in Santo Domingo, the capital, from San Jose, Costa Rica.

In this video, we share our first experiences of exploring the colonial center of Santo Domingo and the history and architecture that date back to the times of Christopher Columbus and his son, Diego Columbus.

A walk in the Zona Colonial or the Colonial Zone took us to the time of the discovery of the Americas from the first voyage of Christopher Columbus. Santo Domingo was the first city of the 'New World' and has the remains of 'first' of many in the Americas.

- First Cathedral of the Americas
- First Monastery of the Americas
- First Hospital of the Americas
- First Medieval Style Fort of the Americas

Apart from the colonial history, the Zona Colonial and the Malecon also take you through the modern history of Dominican Republic. The Parque Independencia is an interesting place to learn about the war for independence from neighboring Haiti.

During our stay, we got a chance to meet a poet and a filmmaker from Dominican Republic and got to learn from them about their country's culture and history.

As an Indian couple traveling on Indian passports, in this video, we share our experiences of the airport immigration and the visa we used to enter the Dominican Republic. Also, we share the other essentials of traveling in another country like getting local currency and buying local SIM card.
